MoronLessOff: Anastacya: As someone who is "graced" with naturally larger breasts (DD-DDD, depending upon the cut of the bra) I gratefully wish that I could go down about two cup sizes. I wish backaches and endless days of expensive bras and shirts that looks horrible because they're too big to get the shirt that they want (has happened more times than I care to count).

Quick, put a counter in your profile!

This is probably a humblebrag troll, but you ARE aware that breast reduction surgery exists, right?

iron_city_ap: Boob shopping was awesome. For starters, my wife and I went to alot of strip clubs and got alot of private dances to find out who the good doctors are and to see their work up close.

Then, we go in for a consultation and every girl working there is hot. They give us a book with before/after pics with all the relevent info (b cup done with tear shaped implant with 400cc..etc...) My wife picks out what set she likes the best and the smoking hot girl working with us says 'Oh! Those are mine!'. She also walked on me attempting to juggle 3 implants. I mean how many times in your life do you get the opportunity to juggle breast implants? Good times.

I was against the implants but I'm also not complaining about them. If done right, they look really good.

The only thing missing from this post are the words "Dear" and "Penthouse" at the beginning of it.

TwistedFark: Almost all "breast related back pain" is actually indirectly caused by being out of shape. As mentioned above, my wife is quite slight and carries a 32H. She does yoga, pilates and pole dancing classes twice a week and never has an ounce of pain or discomfort.

I feel like this is really unfair for a number of reasons. For one, it seems overly generalized and probably isn't true. Two, there's a huge difference between augmented breasts and breasts that are naturally large, so to compare your wife to a woman who's naturally large breasted is an unfair comparison. Thirdly, maybe you didn't mean it this way, but it sounds like you're saying large breasted women are out of shape, which is certainly true in some cases, but not in others.

I used to have horrible and progressively worse back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, etc. A week later, they were all gone. That was almost six years ago, and still doing well. Did I finally get in shape that week? No, I got properly fitted for bras. I was already in decent shape, at least as good of shape as you could possibly hope for from someone who found running painfully impossible and the thought of swimming--and therefore swimsuits--horrifying.

Rant over. Or more likely, to be continued.

Anastacya: I have considered a reduction several times. Returning to a C-cup would be heaven; I have had to pass up many shirts that I would've liked to buy because my cleavage either (a) pulls the shirt up resulting in the shirt exposing my belly all of the time, and/or (b) the shirt binds my boobs so tightly that it hurts, and/or finally (c) in the instance of this silk shirt that I bought at a Chinese store, I stretched the seams on the side stitching and heard a few snap. It sucks; I really like the shirt and I can't wear it :(

Buy shirts that fit your bust and have the rest taken in by a seamstress. It's maybe $15 bucks a shirt.

I have thought about implants...or, more specifically ONE implant, but the thought of something solid and unnatural IN MY BODY terrifies me. I was had a gymnastics injury during puberty that involved a very sharp blow to one breast, and now I am drastically uneven...like, one barely C and one almost DD. Surgery of any kind seems like overkill, but the reality is that women are extremely insecure about any perceived "problems" with their breasts, and making clothing appear balanced and even sucks.

And really, the generalities about women who get their boobs done is pretty mysogynistic, so if you are thinking you are white knighting feminism - you are not.

Uh, I'm a woman. So, no white knight here. Ok, let's examine my statement. Why do healthy women who have healthy natural boobelage (let's just say my size, a full B) go under the surgical knife to get bigger ones, usually huge? For the attention. They wrongfully believe that if men like staring at their chests thatthat means they are then sexy and desirable. When you have low self-esteem, you misinterpret a dude wanting to motorboat you or f- you as meaning that you are worthy. I hope that makes sense.

I am a big believer that if a surgery that is otherwise considered purely elective/cosmetic can actually improve quality of life by eliminating or drastically reducing pain should really be covered to an extent, partially, so that the patient can better afford it. The 32H wife guy up there says that his wife does all kinds of exercises and thankfully doesn't endure pain and discomfort, and I do believe he also has a good point. If routine and proper exercise doesn't reduce the pain/discomfort problem, then perhaps reduction surgery should be considered and accepted, partially, by insurance companies.

Just my two cents! (which can't buy jack shiat nowadays.)

I seem to remember my mother's friend getting a reduction and it being covered by her insurance (this was over ten years ago). I remember my mother saying that a half-gallon of fat was removed from each breast. I do not remember what her starting bra size was, but she went down to a B-cup. She called my mother and exclaimed "Oh my god, they're perky again!".

I have considered a reduction several times. I so wish you the best, Anastacya! You know, just the other day, my BFF, who is 5'feet tall, slim and a double D tried on a shirt I thought was perfect for her. She is normally a size 0 (yes, very tiny). The shirt didn't fit over her chest, and she sighed and said, "story of my life." I felt really damn badly.

But now I'm wondering if there are designers who can create beautiful tops for well-endowed women. This, I think, would be awesome!

My CPA girlfriend followed the led of one of her friends and got implants. They are way too big for her frame (something that she acknowledges) and they make her look like a bimbo and when we are out in public people treat like one.

I am not a fan of large breasts, I would rather they be size appropriate for the frame. There is such as thing as too little, but there is also a thing as too much.

You get used to it, I don't even notice the one boob that I had augment (the other was a reconstruct from a radical mastectomy) I'm not going to lie, it does hurt like a motherfarker to get them done. While the pain from the reconstructed boob was obviously worse, there is a lot of pain, expense and long time for recovery associated with the remaining augment breast. At the same time, it's great to finally feel like my body is whole. There has been some disappointment associated with the leftover scaring. It is still recent so I'm hoping that within the next year more of it will fade but I have been told that some will be permanent. That is another thing you may have to consider, the bulk of my scaring and the worse of it is on the reconstructed breast, mostly because they had to dig so deep to get all of the cancer. There is minor scarring on my augment breasted and you may find you have some scarring depending on how many CC's you get. I only went up to a low C cup, you going from a C to a DD - so you might have some scarring. If it bother you, it's worth looking into, I would try to find doctors that do lot of reconstruction since they would have lot of experience make augment breast even. Another option would be to reduce your larger breast, or you don't have to do anything. If your just slight self-conscious about it there is really no reason to go though all of that expense, pain and recovery time.

As for the rest of this thread:

Trust me, if you have the stomach for it GS radical mastectomy scarring and tell me with all honesty that you could maintain an erection after I took off my shirt. I don't want to give up sex because of this, I'm 30, it's too damn young to shut down the works and become celibate. People felt the same before the surgery and cancer - most of the guys championing the itty bitty titty club usually go after the small and petite girls. A size A or B chest on them look nice and natural. When your 5'10 with a barely A cup, good luck getting guys to find you attractive outside of gay fashionista, which doesn't do me much good. Look at how many guys around here scream about skinny women having "1the body of a 12 year old boy", there is a lot of truth to fact that it is not found to be attractive. For some of us, overeating does nothing in the boob area, we just get gut. It's not say implants are always a good idea for small chested women, you have realize that a set of DD's on a 23 inch waist is going to look freaky, especially if you have no ass either. Implants need to be kept in proportion, you want something to give you a little definition but you can't fight your natural body type. So to everyone in this thread - either quick biatching about "12 year old boy" body types or accept that some women will want implant to get a what is considered to be a feminine body type. If I could have magically made my tit's grow, I would have done it years ago.
