Never read anything about the book other than what I've heard in Fark threads, so based on all the reports of moms reading this thing I've always assumed that the main characters were well into middle age. Or maybe something really ridiculous like a 55 year old female lead and a 29 year old billionaire male lead. But per tfa they're considering leads in their early 20s.

So was I wrong about the characters' ages? Or are old ladies just as bad as us old men when it comes to pretending that we all stopped aging sometime in our early 30s and stayed there?

BronyMedic: Using 50 Shades of Grey to learn about a BDSM relationship is like using CSI to learn about Forensic Science.

Whatever. People 'in the know' can rag on it all they want... but,

Not everyone wants to be a forensic scientist, some just want to play detective.

It is getting 30/40/50-somethings to enjoy getting their asses spanked, light bondage, and some kink.
I'm more than happy to step in and play the lead character in their 50SoG reenactment.

FritztheCat: Just have Gilbert Gottfried narrate and it won't matter who is in the movie.

Came here for this. Leaving satisfied.

The female character is supposed to be a 22 year old college student and the male character is something like late 20s/early 30s, I think.
