Bring a pack of condoms. And perhaps some other protection as well.

How cute. Jello is still trying to stay relevant.

Until the NYPD lets its special squad out of the truck.

I'd say anybody who stands on a soapbox and points out the emperor's naked ass is not only relevant, but a public servant. Note to Wall St. - You're still thieves and we're still pissed off.

I was walking by the old Chicago Board of Trade Building and Federal Reserve buildings yesterday and there were still 6 occupy protesters standing around. One of them was handing out pamphlets demanding free higher education for everyone. I wonder how they expect it to be paid for.

ButterMule: How cute. Jello is still trying to stay relevant.

He's a dick. Like, he's just not a nice or pleasant person, at all. He acts as if he thinks you should feel privileged just to be in his presence and that gives him the right to be a horrible person.

/ I laughed at him and made fun of him live on my old radio show, the reason why I met him

It's about farking time.

The worst part about OWS' presence in lower Manhattan are all the damned cops. They block off 90% of the streets. Their horses shiat everywhere. They have an army's worth of weapons parked around the corner from the TV cameras. OWS couldn't have been more peaceful. It was the cops that made it a pain in the ass.

Of course. NYC is a police state and they were there for people to respect their authoritah.

Last night I ended up in bishopsgate (London, UK) listening to a speaker from 'Occupy' for about 1/2 hour.
so
I learned a little about veganism
I learned that the guy had no idea of transport infrastructures, agriculture, logistics or foreign trade.
I sorta assumed he was the most extreme kind of communist, because no one should ever earn anything more than they need, and everyone would want to work for the good of others.
I learned about the origin of some British slang

but I still dont know what the fark 'occupy' is all about, apart from they dislike the financial sector in general, and huge wage packets for corporate bosses.

2012-09-15 04:57:52 PM
And by 10:15 am NYPD will be cracking heads.

/Cops, the only unions Wall Street likes.

I'll be there with my new iphone5!!

Police will be there to make sure that no one has over 16oz of soda.

OWS needs to get off its ass, stop doing useless "sit-ins" and start forming up as a serious political rival to the Teabaggers.

Feel free to occupy whatever you want on Sunday. If you stop or slow me down on Monday? I will occupy your faces with my fist.

/just saying.

bring plenty of syringes, u don't wanna have to share

2012-09-15 05:21:41 PM
I hope they procured enough toilets this time. All that social networking and planning last time and no one thought about bringing shiatters? Not too smart

I'm pretty sure you've lost the "it's just a bunch of dumb hippies destroying shiat" argument when it starts being organized annually.

Those one percenters are the only thing standing in the way of everyone's right to print their own counterfeit money! Once we all have billions of dollars, nobody will ever have to worry about spending other peoples' money again!

/But although there was plenty of money, there was nothing our money would buy,

Yeah, because the political process hasn't been completely hijacked. All the multinational corporations are just sitting back and letting the chips fall where they may, even if it means they lose control and profits.

Win win win. Would rather go to the gathering then occupy anything. Although I bet the weed is comparable.

There are other countries that seem to manage it OK.

I'm sure people, ie corporations, really want more of their tax money being used to pay for useless liberal arst degrees for people who will eventually end up in park biatching about the fact they can't get hired because they have to appreciable skills.

Just like all those rapes that took place at the stadium in New Orleans after Katrina.

What, you mean there were none? But the TV said there were!

OWS... they still relevent? no? I didn't think so... bunch of lazy, unemployed, brain-dead idealist who have no idea what they really want nor how to get it.

/GD it so much.. I just described Congress...

2012-09-15 05:41:10 PM
Remember folks the NYPD and Mike Bloomberg are nothing more than authoritarian scum. Remember those two things and you'll get along fine.

Another poster noted that OWS should try to become a serious political movement rather than "occupy" and become hijacked by God only knows what else. I concur. But I still think the NYPD and Bloomberg showed what authoritarian asswipes they were when they broke up OWS the last time

They have no idea how the system works, they feel everyone should just accept what they have to say as gospel. They refuse to accept reality and the fact communism is a failed social concept and only works if you threaten people with force if they dare stand up to the government.

OWS is bullshiat, but feel free to believe they have a farkin clue.

steamingpile: They refuse to accept reality and the fact communism is a failed social concept

For the last time, spending tax dollars on something other than war and corporate kickbacks is not communism. Simply suggesting more tax dollars go towards helping taxpayers is not a communist principle, it's the reason we pay taxes. Hundreds of years ago it wasn't decided everyone should pay taxes so the government can do whatever the hell it pleases with the money and neglect the citizens.

Sam way we paid for more than a decade of foreign invasion, war, occupation, and then paying them not to kill us so we could leave (Iraq), then paying to get ourselves out of there. The upshot is that we would end up with a generation of educated people. So yeah, I guess you're right. Nobody in industry or government wants that. Why bother.

Also: Of course government doesn't want educated people... you can't control the masses if they are smarter than you....

I was in New York for some training down in the financial district. I walked past a group of occupiers on my way into the office who complimented my suit and bow tie. I just pretended they weren't being condescending.
