Who cares what she sounds like? Subby's offer lived up to the hype. Nice tuning!

Damn, that a finely tuned airplane.

Summoner101
That's also finely tuned!

I wonder if I could fit and engine like that on my leaf blower and weed whacker.

So did some Google Fu...

The engine in that plane seems to be a still development model. (Kolm IL200) so no price on this model but it's processor the Kolm IL135 is over $3000 farking dollars.. Which also sounds badass as hell

And for full size, the Rolls Royce Merlin made the greatest sound made by any internal combustion engine of all time. OF ALL TIME

That'd be fun to fly through a German retirement home, just to watch everyone dive under their wheelchairs.

You poor man, you've obviously never heard the Corsair's R2800 "Double-Wasp."

Very cool and certainly up there with the turbine powered RC helicopters for sounding like the real vehicles.

I'm going to assume it's pilot issue with all the back-end bobbing just after take-off.

CSB:
Talking about engine noise - when I was in the Army during the first Gulf War, guys coming back said that when the Iraqi soldiers heard the noise from the A10s coming, they would abandon whatever they were in or had on them and run the other way.

Wow there are some truly incredible, scale-model aircraft out there. The P-51 in TFA plus I've watched the delta jet someone linked, the Byron B-29 and a B-52 model.

I like the sounds and tricks all well and good, but the real deal is the landings. TFA's was perfect, the delta jet was intended to body-slide on the grass (and did) and the -29 crashed into some trees. Whoops. I didn't watch the end of the BUFF video; the 30-degree crab-angle takeoff was dicey enough!

Too funny that these German guys are flying a plane which basically finished their asses in WWII.
