Just in time for the lunchtime game.

The mighty Norwich City against West Ham. West Ham havn't beaten Norwich at Carrow Road in the league for over 40 years. Now thats an unbeaton run.

With no Carrol the Hammers are a bit light up front and the defense will get a workout with the likes of Holt, Jackson and Morrison. But Allidyce teams are always hard to beat.

Come on you yellows!

Tough game for Norwich this morning. West Ham will fight to the final whistle.

/why am I awake again?

Shooting practice for Norwich there. West Ham defending rather poor, Holt's going to net one at this rate.

2012-09-15 08:16:10 AM
Holy crap how did the ball not go into the net. That was six shots one after the other.

I think that should be a pen, it looked just inside.

Oh, last-minute reminder: IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE YOUR GAME PICKS YET, DO IT NOW SO YOU DON'T DROP POINTS

http://predictor.talksport.co.uk/

I sincerely apologize for yelling at this ungodly hour. For those of you who didn't see this when it started, people playing can drop points and go below 0 with bad picks, so you can still join now, make some picks and curse yourself for making bad picks like the rest of us do.

Don't you love it when you find things you bookmarked things weeks ago and meant to post them the following Saturday, but never did?

The Nicklas Bendtner Failure Compendium

A brilliant goal and amazing assist from 1993

And from here:

Sunday 13 May 2012. Manchester United are winning 1-0 at Sunderland. Wayne Rooney has scored the goal that has put them on the verge of the Premier League title and, in a corner of the Stadium of Light, a small army of construction staff is already in position, waiting to assemble the stage for the presentation of the trophy.

Sir Dave Richards, the Premier League's chairman, leaves his seat just as the game is going into stoppage time. It will be his job to hand over the medals, so he makes his way to the end of his row and through the VIP area to the back of the stand, then heads for the lifts that will take him down to pitch-level.

What he does not know, on his way down, is that something remarkable is taking place 140 miles away in Manchester. The kind of rare euphoria that makes you feel almost sympathy for those people who just don't "get" football. A few minutes earlier, fans were leaving in tears.

Manchester City were losing 2-1 to QPR and on the brink of blowing it. Typical City, and all that. Now there are bodies all over the pitch, sobbing very different tears.

The Premier League has just witnessed its most remarkable, brutal, exhilarating finale ever and, flashing his accreditation to get into the tunnel, Richards is about to re-affirm his place as the slightly embarrassing uncle of English football. An official in a Manchester United blazer is standing by the dressing-room door, wearing a look of blank horror. Martin Tyler, with one long, impassioned, throaty "Agüero," has just provided the soundtrack to City's summer. It's all over. Sir Alex Ferguson's team have lost the title, with the last kick of the last match.

Richards bounds over, arms spread.

"Well done. Well bloody done! Congratulations, many congratulations. Fantastic."

Oh my god, that's brilliant. I've seen Bendtner make some decent goals, yet somehow he's MUCH better in his mind than what everyone else sees, which is a decent striker at best. He misses a lot of sitters and never works as hard as he should. If he worked harder, I think he could jump a level, but has anybody ever seen him busting his ass? Imagine if he was as active and mobile and streaking as RvP. Maybe THEN he'd be a top shelf striker. He won't, though. It's a shame; he's got good feet when he's focused.

2012-09-15 09:36:00 AM
Damn shame, Norwich. You should have won this one.

2012-09-15 09:42:53 AM
Already have one match incorrect. Yay me!

2012-09-15 09:52:25 AM
400th appearance for Rio.

700th appearance for Scholes.

600th Premier League appearance for Giggs.

500th home league match for Sir Alex.

Which game is everyone watching? I'm going to have the United game on.

2012-09-15 09:55:00 AM
So Phoenix got a pro (UCL) soccer team called Phoenix FC. The real shame is we're called the wolves for no good reason and our logo looks like something an AYSO team would have.

2012-09-15 09:55:46 AM
That was a very Allardyce performance from West Ham. Very organised away from home and happy to pick up one point.

IF only we could of got that late goal.

They're saying on FSC the everybody gets a free week of FS plus to preview it. Mine isn't working, anybody else try it yet?

Breaking news Anton Ferdinand didn't shake hands with Terry and Cole. Can't say i blame him.

Same here. I thought West Ham might steal a game at the Canaries.

2012-09-15 09:58:46 AM
Norwich 1 - 1 West Ham
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Swansea
Fulham 1 - 1 West Brom
Man Utd 2 - 0 Wigan (Banker)
QPR 0 - 3 Chelsea (probably should have been my banker)
Stoke 1 - 2 Man City
Sunderland 1 - 1 Liverpool (Insurance)
Reading 0 - 1 Spurs
Everton 2 - 1 Newcastle (farking Geordies have been screwing me over every week)

2012-09-15 09:58:50 AM
Anton said he'd duck them both and he did. No surprise there.

So Handshakegate 1 is done. Now to see what happens next week for Handshakegate 2.

What I's Ferdinand's beef with Cole?

2012-09-15 09:59:34 AM

Wrong Ferdinand. Cole was a character witness for Terry and supported him publicly.

Rio Ferdinand (the uncle i think) replied to a tweet from some one else calling Ashley Cole a choc ice (black on the outside white in the middle) saying it was funny.

Wow, probably justice done, but what the hell kind of penalty was that? It was a light penalty, but why the hell was Al-Habsi out in the first place?

Horrible, peno.

Right you are. I knew it was Rio that re-tweeted the choc-ice quote, I just automatically thought "Rio" when I heard "Ferdinand". That they weren't playing each other didn't even occur to me!

Has the bbc text feed got it right? Stoke up 1-0?

2012-09-15 10:28:10 AM
Welbeck is having a good game so far other than the "dive". Just has to get that ball in the net now.

HaywoodJablonski: Norfolking Chance: Has the bbc text feed got it right? Stoke up 1-0?

Seems to be. Crouch with the goal

I've got that game as a 1-1 with the insurance as a punt with Agruro out. Maybe my best guess of the week.
