pffft

Sounds like something a woman would do.

To be fair it's hard to tell how many calls makes you a stalker. One call is almost always ok, but 30 is definitely stalking. You could get away with five maybe but 15 is overkill. Where is the line people? No one teaches you this in school so how are we supposed to know?

The 20-year old ex-girlfriend of the 44 year old dude and they broke up with two years ago? Can't decide whether to castrate the dude or give him a high five. Creepy stalking points to the former.

Was that wrong?

Should he have tried a different approach?

The death threat was in JUNE. It took them from JUNE to middle of SEPTEMBER to make an arrest? That's how people get killed. This girl is lucky. I have had more than my fair share of weirdos and stalkers, (lets be honest, ONE is more than enough, I have had to get NCOs on a couple guys) but living under that kind of stress is not easy.

Also want to add: There's a 24 year age difference there... that man is clearly not right in the head to begin with.

It's the Warriors Spray Paint Guy, but a hell of a lot creepier and stalkerish.

Someone had spray painted a message on the side of the building in red and orange paint: "[Victim's Name] LOVES DRUGSS DRUGS."

Not just drugs, drugss drugs. It's like rape-rape, only with drugs.

I have to admit, I have a hard time letting go of relationships. There's always that caveman portion of my brain that thinks about stuff like that, because I feel hurt and betrayed. Fortunately, my higher brain functions always kick in and say "don't be a dick." I explained this to my therapist once, and he said "you know what? You can think about it all you want. Go for it. But if you ever feel like you're going to act on it, take a different action. Play a violent videogame, go to the batting cage, run awhile, anything safe until those feelings are exhausted by action. But never take the actions that part of your mind is telling you to."

Clearly it's all her fault, submitter. When there's a problem in a relationship, it's always the woman's fault. This is Fark canon.

I haven't read any of the other comments, but there will be at least one telling us that she drove him to it by something something blah blah blah.

I was stalked by a crazy mormon woman, she tried the old fake pregnancy, standing in my yard at 2:00 a.m., parking down the street from my house. Had to get an order of protection. She moved back to Wisconsin thankfully.

We should have a beer. Mine parked in front of my house most nights and left [horrible] mixtapes in my mailbox for weeks, always with a poem and artful doodles in the margins. 5 years later I still get an occasional crazy e-mail.

The legal line is one call after "Don't call me again."

This is Fark, I should have been more clear... She is lucky to be alive. Seeing as how the giant cluster of events she underwent would have resulted in her termination if he had one more screw loose.

I had a few stalkers in my life. One knew my work schedule so she would show up at whatever bar, club, concert I was working at. That really sucked she would follow me around like a puppy. I also think she was calling me at 3 am in the moring and would just sit there on the phone not saying a word that sucked. Shoulda never slept with her.
At one time I also had to go through a female conservative radio hoast (no not that one) mail because some guy was sending her all kinds of weird mail. At least once a week she would get these packages of phonebooks of written letters about her and how he loved and supported her. She was sick at one time so he started sending her printouts of medical advice he downloaded from the internet and special food that would fight off her illness. He sent her bibles, stuffed animals, crappy jewerly. It was kinda fun that time of the week because people found out my job and started to watch to see what he would send next. At one point the FBI did get involved and kept tabs on him just incase he snapped, apperently he had a "history".

Fire your therapist.

'Working it out' by engaging in simulations isn't a legitimate mechanism to control behavior.

If that was the case, folks like Mike Tyson, who had been engaging in some of the most intense and deliberately violent training to some certain point of exhaustion, for days at a time, would have been a cuddly kitten. Instead, he beat and/or raped women, and later lost his temper in a fight and bit his opponent's ear.

I think I found his Facebook, but I'm too stupid to link here. He goes by Alex Drzewucki Jr. there. There's a pic of him with a hot blonde and another young lady in another pic. If the blonde is his ex, and he looks like that then what the fark am I doing wrong? If it's the frizzy haired chick, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?

I think in retrospect, he was tailoring his answer for my personality type. I'm not violent, and I never have been. I've never struck anyone since middle school. It was the fact that those feelings were welling up in me in the first place that was bothering me, which is why I mentioned it. He then proposed nonviolent alternatives to calm those emotions.
