Goddammittsomuch.

Real sports fans, ones who actually played the game, don't rely on maths to figure out playoff chances. The grittiest, scrappiest team will win. Also, Robinson Cano.

I have full confidence that the White Sox will complete their collapse and allow the scum-laden Tigers to win the Central. At least I'll be able to experience some Schadenfreude when they get swept out of the first round.

How about looking forward to that game v. Man United. After everything that's happened with the Hillsborough inquiry, that game's going to be something beyond belief in terms of how much energy Anfield will have.

if the Yankees win the AL East and the Tigers the Central, and if Texas doesn't totally take a dump for the next two weeks, the Tigers would play the Yankees in the first round for the third time in 7 years. The first two went the Tigers's way...

3 games back. SOON.

That doesn't mean anything, really. What I'm really getting at is that whoever wins the Central just isn't very good. Neither the Sox nor Tigers have been able to take advantage of the other team playing like shiat for extended periods of time to run away with the division. Tigers have the advantage in the head-to-head department. Hell, if the Sox could have just played .500 ball against the Tigers this year they'd have a very comfortable lead. Unfortunately, the Sox love choosing certain teams to inexplicably suck against every year, and this year it's the Royals and Tigers.

Whatever team from the West or East that just misses out on the second wild card will be more deserving of the playoffs than whoever wins the Central.

September 13-14 is the first time the yankees won back to back games in a month.

In the same time span, the Orioles have not lost back to back games.

Seriously, I turned the game off after Hannahan & Lillibridge decided to chuck the ball all over the Metroplex & woke to a pleasant surprise shocking result this morning.

If the Rangers somehow lose out to the A's by 1 game, remember this suckfest.

Probably needs serious re-calibration. Poll was taken during last year's ALDS when the Tigers were playing the Yankees.

I know there at least 2 Rays fans on Fark.

Exactly, which is why the Tigers, Rangers, & Cards have such big chunks. I've only got 164 fans in my MLB pie while I've got nearly 700 (!!!) for the NFL.

No Rockies fans yet? Come on guys, I know there are a few of you on here.

And The Bestest is right - there are at least two Rays fans here, which means that roughly 50% of the team's fan base is on Fark.

2. If you stomach disputes you, lie down and pacify it with cool thoughts.
3. Keep the juices flowing by jangling around gently as you move.
