Good grief. This is the ultra conservative project Glen Beck has been squawking about all week.

"The old-fashioned melodrama about a small-town mayor's fight to put the Christ back in Christmas - and to drag the town's mothballed angel ornaments back into the public square - plays squarely to folks who feel that Christians today are persecuted.

As its hero states, with little evidence other than a clip of Bill O'Reilly decrying the separation of church and state, "For a long time, people have been trying to pass laws to get rid of Christmas altogether." The Grinch in this case is a cigar-smoking heavy from an ACLU-like, Washington-based advocacy group, played with lip-curling malevolence by Fred Williamson."

Oh, that's hilarious.

Sybarite: played with lip-curling malevolence by Fred Williamson.

As in Fred "the Hammer" Williamson? Wow.

Any movie with a 66 point differential between the liberal media critics and the movie-going public has got to be a winner!

Last Ounce of Courage is the story of a grieving father inspired by his grandson to take a stand for faith and freedom against a tide of apathy and vanishing liberty. Alongside fellow citizens of courage, faith, and integrity, he is a champion for the cherished principles we the people hold dear. A tale of family bonds and free expression, the film seeks to encourage all Americans to take a stand and raise their voices in support of their beliefs. Last Ounce of Courage and Veritas are proud to partner with StandUSA, an online community for American values, in standing up for the ideals of faith, family, and freedom in a pivotal time for our country. StandUSA, along with its partners and affiliates, encourages all Americans to take the inspirational message of the film to heart and let it spur them to raise their voices in support of freedom.

This is an astoundingly vague blurb. This movie could be about anything.

The Passionn of the Christ taught movie makers that churches will spend tithe money on pro- religious movies. Enough to make a tidy profit in low budget films.

The sheer volume of what I like to call "eyebrow acting" -- in which thespian intensity is directly proportional to the angle and depth of one's forehead furrows -- is staggering.

lol

Last Ounce of Courage sounds like a gay pr)n title. I would love to see some movie posters for that.

You wanna know how bad this is?

Even the new Resident Evil has a better percentage, and the only way they would get me to see that would be a Director's Cut DVD release where Milla does the whole movie nude.

I saw an ad for this. It didn't tell me what it was about but it looked like porno grade acting in soap opera lighting and frame rate. It'll make at least $50 mill.

What's with all these shiatty conservative movies of late? Leave the filmmaking to the Godless liberal Hollyweird. We found something else conservatives suck at.

Thanks. I wonder who is behind the constitution? (I assume it's the constitution that he's holding up)

Also, he lumped Bush in with Obama, FDR, and LBJ?

You sign into law the largest increase to the welfare state since it began you dont get to call yourself a conservative. Compassionate or otherwise. And I don't care if it is the only government program that has come in under cost. It's still costs billions

The kids decided it would be more fun to sit in their barracks and study UNIX commands.

"For a long time, people have been trying to pass laws to get rid of Christmas altogether."

Overlooking the fact that any elected official proposing such legislation would end up in a landfill buried beneath an avalanche of discarded "John Carter" Blu-Rays and Google+ t-shirts with a bullet inscribed "From your friends in Bentonville" has anyone, anywhere, anytime ever heard of a bill to "get rid of Christmas?"

Mr. Coffee Nerves: has anyone, anywhere, anytime ever heard of a bill to "get rid of Christmas?

Yes, Senator Scrooge (D) from Dickenson and Congressman Grinch (D) from Hooville.

Idiots.

It's clearly about a father coming to terms with his sons homosexuality and standing up for his right to marry.

The lead actor, Marshall R. Teague, has a bacon number of 2. Johnny Depp also has a bacon number of 2. Therefore I think we can conclude this movie will make as much money as Pirates of the Caribbean.

My favorite quote from the reviews:

"This is bigotry masquerading as leadership, thuggery claiming the banner of freedom, braggadocio pretending to be strength."

Also, if you're going to release a movie about Real Americans fighting to put the Christ back in Christmas, shouldn't you release it...you know...around Christmas?

I have always wondered about the extreme right wing persecution complex. Nobody actually does any of this shiat but somehow they get it in their pea brains that I give a shiat about Podunk, TX's Christmas display.

I don't. Nor do I care about many of these things they do. Unless they want to take away my rights through legislation, which is pretty much irony defined.

Couldn't even watch this tripe drunk.

Or John Quincy Adams with hair plugs, but nobody gives a shiat about John Quincy Adams.
