(TMZ)   Vince Neil says the show must go on, he can sing with a broken foot, which is odd, because he really couldn't sing before he had a broken foot *rimshot*   (tmz.com) divider line 22

Weird. I had my money on "hip" as the next broken bone for Grandpa Vince.

He was going to sue the venue where he suffered his injury, but his lawyers advised him that he didn't have a leg to stand on.

Hey, that's one foot he can't put on the gas pedal, so everyone gets to go home alive.

Um...

You can take offense if you want...I don't give a shiat...

But Vince Neil's voice is, most likely, in the top ten of rock n roll/heavy metal voices.

Or was...I haven't heard him sing in years.

But when Motley Crue were prime, he could wail. Well.

disclaimer - I live me some Crue. the first 3 records are classics and a couple after that are decent enough rock.

Vince can't sing live any longer. I saw them a couple years ago. the band itself was great, other than sad ol' Mick just being kinda propped up on one side of the stage, but Vince... his voice is just gone. Hell, he let the crowd sing about half the songs anyway.

In his prime, he was great. He isn't great any longer.

Vinny Squeal hasn't EVER had a "voice" a la Dickinson, Halford or Tate. If you mean that his "voice" is unique and recognizable, than yes, I'd agree with that. But good GOD man, he's been having the crowd sing the end of every line by sticking the mic into the audience for DECADES.

Also, the current live version of the Crue has almost literally every computer in existance working for them. Tapes, triggers, sequencers, etc.

Dr. Feelgood wasn't a classic?

saw Crue/Kiss recently. It sounded like they had Vince's mice autotuned up to a bit of a high end. He sounded like a chipmunk. Glad to see he is still singing every third word of the Crue songs though...

Kiss was good, and the warmup band, (The Treatment), weren't too bad.

If it's a duet, maybe a broken foot can at least carry a tune.

to some I suppose. To me it is a Bob Rock over-produced glossy piece of mostly crap.

Motley Crüe is one of the all time great American bands made up of some really terrible people who haven't improved with age.

Generation Swine was ahead of its time. It would be a better fit in 2012 than in 1995 or whenever it came out.

/Corabi was better

Vince sounds great, but he has NO cardio.

If he were as dedicated to staying in shape as Bruce Dickenson, he'd be able to put on a better performance.

I like Motley Crue, but even I have to admit that Vince isn't much of a singer anymore. Back in the 80s he could hit those high notes like you wouldn't believe, but these days Vince's singing is the weakest part of a Crue show.

Crue shows are still fun, though, if only because of all the 40 year old MILFs who were Crue fans when they were teenagers back in the 80s.

I watched the same tour about a month ago and and that was my impression of Vince too.He only sang about every third word. The band kicked some ass tho. At least Tommy Lee got the city right this time. Never been to one of their shows in the 80's or 90's.

Kiss started out flat that nite but came on strong after the third song. The Treatment were ok.
