Gunny Highway: I think you are right. She is 26 and hasnt worked on a project in 2 years. She is probably feeling like it is all over and is making the lamest cry for help ever.

Strange how she was working steadily and now nothing the last 2 years...which I'm attributing to everyone knowing she's a trainwreck.

Hollywood and the public are forgiving if people like Lohan or Bynes get their shiat together. Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect example. He cleaned up and now he's always working (he was always a good actor, just a mess when he was a drug-abuser) and is a hot commodity. Hell, even Charlie Sheen is still able to find work.

I have a strange notion, take a cab.

doczoidberg: She needs to do porn.
It's the only solution!

I love Fark.

Bhruic: Or, let's ask it differently, if there were no paparazzi there, and she had no reason to cover up, would there have been a collision (using the word in its most generous sense)?

Awesome reply. So, if there were no television, media or movies, she wouldn't be a so-called celebrity and her actions of driving on a suspended license in the first place would her fault alone for getting behind the wheel. Fun game.

2012-09-14 11:28:57 AM

Bhruic: I'm not sure if she's a trainwreck or not - although the Fark evidence seems to be that she is. But in this instance...

FTA: According to our camera guy ... Amanda was attempting to cover her face when she love-tapped the other vehicle

...maybe if the farking paparazzi weren't being assholes as usual, she wouldn't have to try and cover her face while driving.

Wasn't it her fault she was driving on a suspended. Would the Paparazzi been able to "distract" here had she not chose to do something she was not supposed to be doing. Yup, totally HER fault.

Bhruic: Bender The Offender: Oh noes, don't make the young, pretty white blonde girl take responsiblity for her criminal actions!

*sigh* This is what I get for trying to use common sense on the internet. Should she have been driving with a suspended license? Of course not. Has she been treated with kid gloves for being a "celebrity"? Probably. Should she have focused more on driving and less on hiding? Definitely.

But in this case, she bumped into another car in a parking garage lightly enough to cause no damage.

Let me counter with this: Where were you when my wife was arrested, handcuffed, and made to spend the night in jail for "driving with an expired license"? I missed your internet activism on her behalf. Now granted, she is over 30, but she is pretty and blonde so what exactly makes this situation different from my wifes (other than the fact my wife has absolutely no prior history of DUI's, her license has never been suspended, and until the night that cockgobbler small town coont of a cop decided to treat my wife like a farking criminal just because he could, she had never once had a brush with the law)? If your only response is "the paparazzi did it" then you really don't deserve to be taken seriously.

am i the only one in the camp that thinks BECAUSE they are celebrities after the 1st offense, punitive action needs to be harsher?? how stupid are these people who after having your license revoked for DUI, can't figure out that perhaps it just might be in their best interests to use some of the wealth they've amassed to, i dunno....HIRE A CAR SERVICE????

shoegaze99: Bhruic: With the answer to that most likely being "no", why shouldn't they share the blame?

Because they did nothing wrong? Because they did nothing more than photograph this twit while she once again got herself into trouble while behind the wheel? Because she has a growing track record of this stuff, with or without photographers around? Because thousands and thousands of other celebrities manage to deal with photographers with those photographers somehow causing them to hop behind the wheel without a license and swerve into nearby cars?

Maybe a better question would be, why should they share the blame? I'd certainly love to hear the argument.

They're at least trying to make a living.

I'm pretty sure there's a significant percentage of all DUI cases, not just those with rich people, in which the drunk could have afforded a cab or had friends they could call. What I mean is, I doubt there are many people who drive drunk out of pure necessity.

yeah, but i'm talking about repeat offenses and offenders who clearly have the means to bypass the need to drive drunk. given their prior offenses it seems to me to be more onerous, bordering on malicious intent, to get behind the wheel in a farked up state of mind.

Nothing is more American than driving a car.

I know some of you think she is hot, but be warned, she Horks! A picture from inside her BMW from E Online showed that there was puke, spilled cocktails and beverage stains all over the floor and snack foods and old Cheetos in the upholstery!

Experts claim that a severely messy and dirty car is a tell-tale sign of a messy and dirty vagina, possibly containing a sand and centipede infestation!

Some claim that Amanda's propensity for sloppy and slovenly behavior started in the set of What I Like About You that culminated in what observers later called the Great Oreo Disaster of 2002.

Sure she may look hot when dressed up, but close friends comment that the faint smell of stale ashtray, spoiled Dilly-bars, and vodka sours surround her in an unshakable funk.

When you she her, just keep the Oust handy and try not to get within her projectile vomiting range.

Not until you've seen someone defending a multiple offender with a suspended license.
