Natsumi, tnx for the geo update. Turns out we've not 1 but 2 copies of rev 3d ed Ntl Geo World Atlas, c1970. Each set of late parents must've had one.
Tnx for checking in; always good to hear from those far flung. Yuuki's good-lookin'; expect to stay that way, just a trifle bigger.
Else- & other-wise, wow! Miss 3 hrs, miss a lot!

I've had such a hard time with fleas!! ZOMG!! Poor Carl and Zoey are sensitive ( Carl is allergic to EVERYTHING!) even with all of the efforts, I'm still losing... : (

the flea perpetrator in question... errrfffff.....

Can you use 'Advantage' on them? none of mine have a problem with that....applied right behind the neck, between the shoulder blades, where they can't reach to lick.... when I fog, that will kill off the live ones.. but the eggs are impervious.. flea powder in the carpet gets those when they hatch out.. larvae are not impervious....

It was never anything classified that happened. Pirates decided to open fire on us, and I was the closest gun to engage them. I don't brag about it, nor do I like talking about it. But if that SOB shows up, I guarantee that he will get a beyond rude awakening on what a military retiree with combat experience can do when their family is threatened.

It's a lazy Saturday afternoon. Cisco's showing off his not-so-tiny tail!

See, I knew there was a reason I TF'd you. Gotta love those of us who think nothing of having a kitty perch featured prominently in our decor. :)

Need to post the pics of the mewbies. We are calling them Sir Meows A Lot, Mellow Yellow, and Mr. Adventure. Sir Meows A Lot breaks my heart-he meows so much because he is looking for a mommy. My big Maine Coon Steve made the mistake of lying down near him, and the poor little thing spent five minutes trying to nurse on him. Steve finally got fed up and went to another room. It was funny to watch, but still made me feel bad for him.

Snuffybud, am not having luck finding all of Yakko with tail. This is part but not all, merely hints at. Captioning was for GangOf5's arrival; they were left on doorstep within minutes of return from distant vacation.
Taking another pic wd only be an option if my camera wasn't Creatively Filed; i.e. unable to locate. Is not where it's meant to be, natch.
Certainly no one else needs to cope with Going Places & either Losing or Leaving Things ....

Well, Mrs. B is on her way back to the hospital. She was here for about three hours today and everything went pretty well. It was sprinkling for a while, so she only got to stay under the car port for a little bit, and she was ticked she didn't get to use the grill, but was happy for some nice steaks and potatoes. Ferret babies went nuts with her. Luckily she was wearing sweat pants, and there were no signs of scratches, but the were all over her from the minute they got out of the cage. Au Jus kept trying to get underneath her, while Junior Mint and the other boys chewed on the tires. Everyone else just climbed all over her and were ducking in and out of the bag on the back of her chair. The kittehs sniffed around the chair and meowed at her, but didn't jump up to her. Fatty Waffles finally got in her lap, but didn't stay very long. She's not a lap cat, and is pretty standoffish, but she's always been that way. All in all it was a good visit and she was practically asleep by the time we got her loaded back into the transport van. A few of the neighbors came over and introduced themselves, and I was really touched by that. Kids and mom also did really well with everything. About the only hiccup we have is the bathroom, and I'll probably have install a new shower and tub, but she cried a good bit when she got here and realized that this is our home now and we don't have to live in apartments anymore. She tried to smuggle Gnocchi out of the house, but that didn't work. Thanks again for all the well wishes today and since this began.

The wife's other present when she visits tomorrow. I know, not animal related, but she was always the one to use the grill, and our old one was a piece of crap that didn't make the move. Not sure what I'll cook on it tomorrow, but I'm sure she'll try and push me out of the way to use it.

Nice Grill! We have the same thing. In fact, CDK is cooking dinner on it right now :o)

I think yours has the smoker on the end which I didn't get. I have a monster steel drum smoker I had made by a couple of welders I knew and that thing has lasted for about 10 years now. Anxious to see what it can do tomorrow.

Chicken Satay skewers...onion/pepper kabobs, grilled mushrooms. Salad...

Don't forget to soak the skewers in water first!

Ex-sig other and I used to take skewers to picnics where there'd be a grill operating. Weren't really well off financially, so the skewers didn't have a lot of fancy stuff but there was LOTS of what we did have...marinated meat (chicken, pork, beef), onions and bell peppers.
We coded what meat was on the skewer by the color of the pepper- green for beef, red for pork, and yellow for chicken. Worked out pretty good...those skewers were VERY popular.

Only one bid so far? The last sign had a lot more action.
This auction also includes Drew's book, who wouldn't want their own copy previously owned and loved by Evel.

I wonder if a lot of people don't really know about it. Might have to post something about it ever other page or so. Or maybe use this Caturday to hype it up and then release the hounds next Caturday :)
