Indeed. Even waved to the ticket taker as he strolled away. That's the kind of man who has multiple bodies buried in his basement, or would if he had a basement.

Why would you rob a drunk? He already spent all of his cash. If he had any cash, he would still be at the bar.

Maybe from the theif's point of view it isn't as terrible. He could have just seen a guy on the tracks and thought, "Well..if he wants to kill himself he won't need that wallet anymore". Unless the guy was begging for help, I guess.

One may think it may be liberating to not give a shiat about the consequences your actions have on others. But from what little I know of the subject, sociopaths still feel emotional reactions as a result of actions done against them.

It'd kinda suck not giving a shiat about other peoples' emotions and yet still feeling lonely all the time because no one with any ounce of sanity will have anything to do with you.

as my wife calls, that's a man with a basement

/ in her eyes, basements only exist for evil sociopaths and their torture campaigns. I've tried to explain to her that basements are quite normal in other parts of the world. but she doesn't care for such talk, it destroys the humor of saying, that's a man who looks like he has a basement.

here's a sociopath test

two sisters attend their mother's funeral. one sister meets a man and falls in love. but, she never learns his name and has no way to contact him. so, she kills her sister.

why?

See. I watch a lot of movies, too. And read a lot. Like all three of those dragon tattoo girl books. Maybe the guy on the tracks deserves to die, but, all he really got was robbed and half of his foot cut off. He could be a really bad person, we don't know. Maybe the robber took whatever money he got and fed his family that night. We just don't know.

I had had a short lived "Maybe humanity isn't so shiatty after all" from viewing the video of that mechanic who repaired a harassed gay kid's car for free. This article, bless it, renewed my deep set loathing of our species.

And to think my family and friends (I use that expression in the most vague of terms) wonder why I'm such a misanthrope.
