He's been doing this a lot recently.  He ripped off the story behind his song "Hurricane" from a 1999 film starring Denzel Washington.

He stole "A Simple Twist of Fate" from this little-known mid-90's movie.

Around the time he blatantly used lyrics from a Hootie and the Blowfish song. I see a pattern.

Y'know how some Farkers hate the RIP meme? I hate the 'I can't understand Dylan' meme.

Ponderous.

Yes. My only explanation is that it's supposed to be awful.

I heard Bob didn't even paint his masterpiece.

News flash: Bob Dylan still doesn't give a flying fark what his critics say.

That crossed my mind, too. And also, Dylan being Dylan might have been like "You know what, if they are going to judge this album on the artwork, and not the music, then f*ck 'em. Make it terrible."

Thankfully, I don't listen to album covers.

Not blown away by this album, but I will give a couple more listens.

I like it a lot better than "Together Through Life".

I've enjoyed the album so far, but when I say the cover art, I's all like, DAMN YO!

Until 2001 I had only heard Dylans' 60's and 70's stuff. Then I heard "Love and Theft" which I thought was awful.

But then, a few years ago, I got "Time out of Mind". Which is a wonderful album Great blend of good musicianship, great production by Lanois, great song arrangements, etc. And I like the layout of the album.... slow song, fast song, repeat.

and his voice was still somewhat ok, not like now. I listened to his first single off the new album, and had to turn it off after 30 seconds. His voice was that awful. and that comment is coming from someone who loves Tom Waits.

Not sure if serious. Love and Theft is a masterpiece from top to bottom.
