Seriously... I honestly think some of you people are paid market shills for Apple, Samsung, etc.. No one gives a god damn what kind of phone you prefer. And they certainly don't care of your uninformed opinion of their own favourite phone. But don't let that stop you from souring the good name of the bad phone that you don't like.

I rather like the galaxy s3. It was really good for streaming the Olympics this past summer so we could watch a lot of events.

I read fark for the pics: No one gives a god damn what kind of phone you prefer.

Well....um....

I had a Motorola KRZR up until March, and I used to receive plenty of snark from friends and coworkers...which was a sign that it was time to get a new phone.

/Went with the iPhone 4S.

I work in the one in Ocala, Florida, the derp began Monday, and although they are offering over time, i took a vacation day, to have a nice long three day weekend.

I had to take an escalation monday from a rep because the lady wanted to order a 5 monday, and refused to beleive the rep, didnt beleive me, til I called apple and had them tell her...

Apple customers have the largest number of tech illiterate complainers I have ever come across in my 25 years of IT.

Yep. As she said, weeks on end of every caller thinking they deserve first place in line and then throwing a tantrum when they cant get one.

I'm also going to laugh at the people who have gone iPhone>>>3g>>>3gs>>>4>>>4s and are going to pay full price just so they can have the iPhone 5 as soon as humanly possible.

I have self-control, so I can wait a few weeks (or even months) to replace my four year old iPhone 3g.

An unlocked contract free iPhone 4gs still sells for around $450-500 depending where you live. If they sell their old phone the upgrade cost is still only $150-200

fark yeah. "come on! who wants women to suffer? END WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE NOW!"

At least they left in some smart people who actually knew what suffrage means.

I don't know if it predates the man show or not, but I saw a similar thing, only the guy was doing it at a small, supposedly prestigious women's college. The only one (that wasn't edited out at least) to point out that suffrage was voting was some chick's boyfriend.

Jimmy Kimmel is a pudgy, square guy in a suit and tie. I'm not going to listen to what he says. He looks like Da Man, and probably drinks name brand coffee from the supermarket.

Don't you want to be a cool guy who wears a hoodie and slip on shoes, who enjoys chillaxing to the latest Thievery Corporation album while sipping on sustainable shade grown organic java?

Most of you in this thread would have been saying the same things as the people in the video if some camera crew approached you on the street and wanted your feedback on a new product. You'd praise it and say whatever you felt prompted to say, hoping to please the guys possibly giving away said product and maybe even getting on the TV.

It's people's fault they're so damn gullible.

Technology is so cheap these days that any brain-moron can just buy it and use it.

Understand it? Truly know about it? nah, they don't REALLY care that much.

Just look people saying "I have the iPhone 4s" and directly comparing it stating "oh yeah this one's faster"

idiots, everywhere.

I'm not arguing with the premise of this bit but it's not like people were so much more tech-savvy back in the day than they are now. I think some of it might be that all these products are being re-released with new versions so often that it could be difficult to tell what the differences are between each release.

That's because Apple caters to them.

Although, with any of these late night comedy bits where they go out on the street... you know there's some shenanegans going on.

You'd think so, but a dumb person is bound to come by so you're just not seeing the time between the dumb folks.

I've always wondered how edited Jay Leno's "stupid people on the street" bit (or whatever its called) is.  Like, do they edit out the 50-75% of correct responses?

The best one was Leno at a college graduation (keep that little fact in mind: COLLEGE GRADUATION) where he asked one graduate how many moons the Earth had. Response: "Uh, I dunno, three?"

Reminds me of Penn and Teller's BS feature on bottled water where people in taste testings preferred tap water from a backyard hose as long as it was packaged in a nice bottle with a fancy label.
