Yeah, it's been a rough month in Laplace. The 4 deputies shot, the hurricane and all the water they pumped into lake ponchartrain deciding to flow into town, a woman who committed "suicide by police" in the early part of the storm by approaching with a gun, and now this, which could have gotten bad quickly. I, personally, had stood in that exact line the day before for 5 hours only to be told I was about $120 over the limit to qualify.
