But Coca-Cola says if any drinks are being sold in either North Korea or Cuba, they are being smuggled in on the black market, not via official channels.

The black market, really? So coke thinks they're a statehood now?

// try gray market

I visited the US last year and I found the Coke lacked flavour. Even Coke Zero, which in my part of the world is a close approximation of the cane sugar version. I switched to Pepsi Max.

If you ever visit the US again, try Kosher Coke, that has cane sugar.

This, and thankfully Kroger has brought some in. They hide it on their 'International' Aisle
/Coke, Sprite and Orange Fanta.

There was a special edition Dr. Pepper making the rounds last year, made with cane sugar. It was so farking good...

Throwback dew is my sugarwater of choice. If it came in glass bottles I would die a happy, fat, jittery man.

The company may not do business in the country but you can buy Coca-Cola just fine in Cuba. Just because Americans aren't allowed to sell it there doesn't mean Mexican bottling companies won't.

With the corn lobby loving that sweet, sweet HFCS money? pft. not likely.

I started drinking "Throwback" Pepsi when it showed up at the local grocery store. HFCS is the spawn of the devil.
Would love to drink some cane-sugar Coke!

It's called "Mexican Coke" in many stores, and is sold in the international and/or the organic aisle. Also, every Passover, they press a run of "Passover Coke" with special yellow caps and Hebrew Stars of David on them, which is also sugar. (For those who can't have corn syrup during passover.)

Gotta wait for Passover. Certain cities sell yellow capped 2 liter bottles of Passover Coke. Absolutely delicious.

/Passover Coke is how the Jews say thank you to America
//you can also look for Mexican coke in certain immigrant stores - though it's never worked for me
///may try some again this weekend

In the international aisle at the grocery store they have Coke made with real sugar. It cost a little bit more but its pretty good. Comes in the old style glass bottle and metal bottle cap you need an opener to oepn it. I even had my roomate taste HFCS Coke and real sugar Coke and she could tell the difference. I shouldnt have dont that because she has stolen my real cokes......biatch!!!

Normally I'd agree, but Pepsi Max is actually darn good. Not as good as regular Coca Cola, mind you, but when you reach middle age every calorie counts.

I tried a bottle of throwback pepsi once and it was nasty. It was so damn sweet it made my teeth hurt. Then again I don't drink a lot of soft drinks and if I want to sweeten a coke with something made from a sugar cane I will just use something like this:

www.universalfws.com

Then again most nights I just drink beer, which at least has some health benefits.

You mean Kosher for Passover Coke, available obviously only for a limited time.

But I have to hand it to The Coca Cola Company sticking to their HFCS guns, even though big chains like Costco seem to think there's a market for the sugar version.

I drank a ton of soda in high school and got kinda fat. I forced myself to start drinking diet.

Now diet tastes normal to me and I'm somewhat less fat. And excited about the twelve cancers I'mma get.
