There's a place in my little hometown that makes the Bacon Bacon Burger. Bacon ground up with the beef and topped with bacon. Pretty damn good.

I'd rather have a good BLT, though. My favorite BLT is no longer available as the place that made it closed down. There are some other good ones, but no one compared to my old favorite. Can't even tell you what it was about it. It was just spectacular. Their jalapeno potato salad was awesome, too.

Oh yeah. Love me some zukes, just about any way you prepare it. But, I don't hear about zucchini all the live-long-farking day. So, I harbor no anger toward zucchini.

Normally I'd say yes. The bacon thing has gotten insane. Bacon vodka, for pete's sake? Bacon cups to hold more bacon? So yes, I hear you. I understand you. I sympathize with you.

But bacon and burgers are like... Bonnie and Clyde. Fred and Ginger. A good thing with another good thing that combine to make a sublime thing, far greater than the sum of the parts. So for now, the answer is that I am sorry, but no. No, we cannot yet move on from bacon. Now, we will drool over some darn tasty looking bacon burgers.

I'm bored of zombies too, though. Time to move to werewolves or something, since vampires are ruined now too.

How about not adding all these obscure toppings and relishes to a good bacon burger. A good bacon burger should have minimal components, great meat, good cheese and bacon, nice bun, spicy mustard, and caremelized onions at the most. NO RAW ONIONS ESPECIALLY RED AND NO KETCHUP.

This burger is representative of the problem with a lot of "gourmet" burgers these days. How are you supposed to get this thing in your mouth?

I couldn't tell you the last time I had bacon. But I think about it a lot.

I'm not a big red meat fan any more, but I will vouch for the Lola burger. Probably taken a few years off my life with those.
