weclock: I'm really looking forward to seeing the iPhone 5 not being sold in the U.S. due to an injunction filed by HTC and/or Samsung. Good job putting LTE on your piece of crap.

Samsung and Motorola have already triggered anti-trust investigations for tying to use as a weapon patents that they pledged to license on a non-discriminatory basis when the LTE standard passed in Europe.

As Microsoft has already learned, the EU fines you ten percent of your companies total profits when you are found guilty of anti-trust violations. They do not play.

It's surprising that HTC would be so stupid as to try to use standards based patents as a weapon after seeing what it leads to.

May be, but the EU would just be the icing on the cake. An American injunction would be the real prize.

mantidor: Latinwolf: Bennie Crabtree: I wonder if the Onion is losing social or political influence by blocking readers who don't subscribe to them.

What are you talking about?

You are limited to like only 4 or 5 articles a month, is incredibly annoying but easy to work around.

For anyone stateside who's still confused, this only applies to IP addresses outside of the U.S.

I'd rather get the iPhone with "Cracker" on the back. It doesn't run as fast, but it doesn't get it pulled over for no reason

Callous: Will you be able to put your icons where ever you want on the screen yet?
