That link should've just gone to the biography of Andy Kaufman.

Is the big joke that this is a cracked article on one page?

2012-09-12 11:48:27 AM
I suppose I didn't get it...it seemed about as funny as the "jokes" in Shakespeare. Yes, I'm a heathen I realize that.

Bashar and Asma's Infinite Playlist: That link should've just gone to the biography of Andy Kaufman.

Cracked is blocked at work, so I was wondering if it's just 4 things that Kaufman did as a matter of course. And if it isn't... well, it should be.

Nothing tops this classic knee-slapper: "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

What was Obama thinking? War with Russia is no laughing matter.

I've been trying to figure out if this is a prank or a real kerfuffle.... I hope it's real. ttp://ca.tweetwood.com/conversation/nickkroll/KenMarino

Oh well. It was still pretty entertaining imagining Kroll with a broken nose.

In addition to being a comedian, he has a show on the Travel Channel.

The Trey Parker one is hilarious.

The Bert Kreischer one is awesome too. Especially since I'm staying in a hotel tonight. Looks like I'm gonna have to mess with the maids.

Barfmaker: I suppose I didn't get it...it seemed about as funny as the "jokes" in Shakespeare. Yes, I'm a heathen I realize that.

I wouldn't necessarily say that pranks have to be "jokes" or really funny to anybody except the people pulling them. Don't expect too much from comedians acting like douches because they're bored. Anyway I found them all at least somewhat amusing, and the red-robe sacrifice scenario in the hotel room was hilarious.

I'm going to be "that guy" and point out that the stapler in the jelly gag mentioned at the top of the article was written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. It was in the superior The Office before the American one.

No mention of Mel Brooks? When he was a writer for Your Show of Shows, he brought 30 Rockefeller to a halt one day after spending all morning switching around the name plates on the doors. They wanted to fire him, but Sid Ceaser defended him saying he was one of his best writers.

I hadn't heard of him until the last year or so where he was on Carolla, Doug Loves Movies, Maron and some other podcasts Ilisten to. Great laugh. Those pictures were epic though.

Nothing tops this classic knee-slapper: "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

Funnier was the hand wringing "OMG how could he" reaction from the bed-wetting left. So little has changed.

I'd go with Clinton never said that. Quotation marks denote you are quoting somebody and not paraphasing them.

I believe he said, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky" or darn close to that.
