meatofmystery: meanwhile, better fones are released with little to no fanfare. if it's good, people buy it. dun need the pomp and circumstance.
FlameDuck: I've been thinking that I should leave my phone home when I go out and work phone at work when I leave the office. Peace and quiet is all I want and it's free.
wmoonfox: Lots of skinny jeans, hoodies...
Fisty Bum: wmoonfox: Lots of skinny jeans, hoodies...You shut your whore mouth. Hoodies are seriously the most comfortable things ever. As soon as I get home from work, a hoodie goes on (unless it's the middle of summer). So comfy. So glorious.
Honest Bender: My girlfriend is pretty excited. But only because she dropped/shattered the face of her current iphone and she's up for contract renewal. New phone, no more ATT... I guess I can understand why she's excited./Give me Android any day.
bingethinker: iHaters are usually not too acquainted with the facts.
bingethinker: The phones aren't available in stores until the 21st, so I doubt there are too many people lining up today. I guess Subby is so anxious to show us how cool he is, he ignored that little fact. Not surprising. iHaters are usually not too acquainted with the facts.
HotWingConspiracy: Meh. I haven't understood this practice since people started lining up for Air Jordan's back when they came out.
kab: HotWingConspiracy: Meh. I haven't understood this practice since people started lining up for Air Jordan's back when they came out.Sneaker folks have moved on to rioting. Waiting in line is sooooo 90's.
Abe Vigoda's Ghost: I think I'm going to be sick.
Abe Vigoda's Ghost: Perhaps what's most exciting about an Apple media event like today's is not a list of features, taken in isolation, but rather Apple's wholistic approach in the presentation. The event is really more like a fairy tale story in which we're introduced to the characters (features) one by one, and then they're woven into an adventure story in which they interact with each other.I think I'm going to be sick.
Marcus Aurelius: I find that I'm much happier when there are no phones whatsoever in my general vicinity. People keep calling me on the damned things.
r1chard3: So what does this one do that makes it special?
Malivon: Waiting for the Blackberry 10 phone to come out. The keyboard is going to be nice, but what I'm looking forward for and waiting reviews on is the UX functionality. Another functionality that is worth looking forward to is the fact that OS10 will be unified messaging. Again, looking at it with piqued interest and honestly hope that BB10 handsets will be powerful enough to handle the OS.I'm sick of my iPhone and the updates that Apple provides towards it aren't really making it any faster, but slower. I have a Nexus 7 and find Android very nice, but my first smart phone was with Blackberry, so I'm hoping that BB has a winner here, because they'll keep the software working swimmingly on the hardware for more than six months like Apple and won't be as fragmented (though the experience with the N7 is very nice) as Android.
