Of course our dang meat ain't rotten!
When one of our cluckers falls off its perch in the factory, the spinnin' blades at floor-level have it chopped, nugget-fied and vacuum-sealed in a plastic bucket before y'all can say "food health inspector"!

Get the extra crispy and throw the chicken away.

My mother to this day refuses to eat at KFC, because when she was in college, in the '70's, she bit into a lovely piece of Kentucky-Fried Mouse.

/Sits back and waits for the "your mom" jokes, and/or the CSB's...

KFC may as well be rotten meat next to Heaven Sent Fried Chicken (Formally known as Ezell's Fried Chicken after a legal battle)

A friend of the families daughter was a mgr for a KFC in Clear Lake (Southeast Houston)... She quit because the owner refused to throw away spoiled chicken...
I won't eat there

I'm not a huge fan of KFC, but I was stuck in Ho Chi Minh City for about two months and it was the only fast food available within walking distance of the Ministry of Health. I learned to like it. I also saw some very, very large rodents nearby... so I was always wondering what the hell I was actually eating, but I really didn't care... it was quite good at the time (especially their popcorn rat).

Or, perhaps your mom was snookered into the fried chicken bucket variant of the old penis in the popcorn box gambit.

Giving them 5 days to get rid of any evidence is not very conducive to a quality inspection, unless the KFC had no idea a complaint had been filed.

Why do people keep going to fast food joints and expecting good food?

If it didn't kill you, that should be enough.

FTFA: "We have had some chicken expired, but I'm not saying we cooked it."

mumbles: "And I'm not saying we didn't either."

Eating a little spoiled meat or an occasional bug part or rodent feces is good for the immune system.

That's what's wrong with kids these days with all their peanut allergies and asthma; they didn't eat enough "expired" chicken at KFC when they were little.

Did they check the backside of the walk-in cooler door handle?

I walked out of the Big Chicken here in Marietta GA, due to the rotten meat smell and haven't been back since.

Looks like the Health Dept in Houston is little more than part of Corporate America's PR dept.
