Nice. It almost sounds like the lyrics were written about yesterday.

Not bad. Sounds like ... well, like a Blur ballad. A lesser Blur ballad, but even lesser Blur is pretty good.

Almost? Where else did "jet fuel it fell down to earth, where the money always comes first. And the sirens sing"?

Nice of them to make a profit off 9/11.

We all know that music about major events in history have only ever existed to make money.

Cynical farks.

Several typos in the bass clef of the piano part near the end of each phrase (in the last two 4/4 measures before they hit 2/4)... The notes don't line up, and if it's intentional, then it's missing a rest, and they add to more than 4 beats.

Crappy music editing/layout, pop-chord progressions that were cliches decades and decades ago, and setting of the lyric's accented/unaccented syllables that would make a professional songwriter of another age shake his head.

Maybe there's a 9/11 joke here--or maybe it's totally, naively serious (?)...but jeez.......

Ahem. (Give it time. It starts off good, but gets better.)

That was nice, and exactly what I would expect from "sheet music porn."

I used to like Blur, but then I started listening to Gorillaz.

/still like Gorillaz

The song was actually written a few years ago, shortly after Think Tank. Same as their other "new song" Fool's Gold.

Well, I figured it wasn't written and produced yesterday, but listen to the third verse again in light of what happened.

Oh.I see. The song was also released a few months ago and they actually played it at the Olympics. What my main point is, is they aren't trying to profit off of terrorism. Any similarities.....yadda yadda yadda..........
