labbal: Dimensio: labbal: My Crap-O-Meter must be calibrated low, because I highly enjoyed Metroid: Other M.

Some individuals enjoy the Twilight series. Likely for the same reasons.

THAT is LOW, and YOUTAKECOMPARISONBACKRIGHTNOW!

I apologize. Clearly, the two elements are fundamentally different. One features a female protagonist who is supposed to be a strong and well-respected character despite continuous, nonstop angst, crippling dependence upon the approval of a male character and illogically suicidal behaviour.

The other is Twilight.

labbal: Dimensio: mooseyfate: cefm: I wish I could delete that game from memory and play again. As a whole, I think I'd rather play that game through start-finish over a weekend than play most new games for a couple of days and be disappointed in crap design, story, gameplay.

This. Other games I wish I could play again for the first time:

Doom 3
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Shadow of the Colossus

/love me some Super Metroid
//if you're looking for something with a similar flavor, I recommend Shadow Complex on XBLA

Sadly, the Metroid series seems to have ended with the Metroid Prime trilogy (all three games are worthwhile, though the first remains my favourite). Unfortunately, no Metroid games have been announced or released since Metroid Prime 3.

Ugh...I'll bite. You're ignoring Other M, aren't you? I mean, that's alright. That's like, your opinion, man, but I just wanted to make sure.

Are you one of those delusional individuals who claims the existence of a sequel to Highlander or a Deus Ex game released after the original but before Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
