As my son was being born, like literally the moment he was being born, they announced on the TV (that was on in the room) that she had just died.

Last season was pretty rough. Just beating us to death with the religious bullshiat in three unrelated subplots and the bad guy was lame as hell. But I'm not giving up on the show, I'll be tuning in for next season.

Funny, but when I saw the "RIP Morgan Freeman" posts the other day on Facebook, the first place I went to confirm things was Fark. Is that messed up or what?

Ha ha--my mom got this last night on her Facebook. Impossible, I said, because WE (here on Fark) hadn't known about it, and we ALWAYS know this shiat at least a day before everyone else. If it's not here...it didn't happen.

I think our minimum pre-knowledge is we had on-the-spot confirmation bin Laden was dead a couple hours before the official report. I get all my news here. And it's easier on my blood pressure.
