There actually is a bat plant. It's supposed to have a very beautiful flower.

Some of the tropical pitcher plants are big enough to digest rodents. Just another bit of creepiness from mother nature.

A similar carnivorous pitcher plant is located in the swampland in East Texas. Sadly, they are not big enough to digest rodents of even the most usual size.
