I like Bing desktop. Cool new wallpaper every day, and the stoopid widget turns off with one click.

I liked Bing only when it offered cool stuff for playing games.

Elzar: I've been told their image search is fastly superior to Google for a poor man's pr0n search tool - what with the specification of image sizes, colors, and what not - so I've been told...

"two black dudes" + "1 white chick"?

jimw: Anyone of the opinion that Steve Balmer is actually a double agent for Apple?

Not a chance. If that was true,Apple products wouldn't suck so bad.

Robots are Strong: Flint Ironstag: Some Bass Playing Guy: Bing maps "bird's eye view" is awesome.

True. If I want to check out somewhere I use Google Maps for Streetview and Bing Maps for (often) higher resolution and to be able to see four views, North, East etc.

/Bing Maps doesn't scroll as nicely though. When you move around it leaps and jumps from one image to another.

Google has the same birds eye from different angles that bing does now.

Where? Their MapsGL only has "3D" for a few, limited areas and that is 3D drawings of buildings, and not even all the buildings.
The Bing maps Birds Eye view covers far more area and is genuine photographic images looking North, East, South and West.

I use Ask dot com exclusively. It works and I don't like Googol. (Yes, the TRUE spelling.)

Icetech3: Actually.. i recently stopped using google as my search engine, half the time it takes forever to come up and now has "suggested" results which are just ads... bing is fast and gives better results..

this has been my experience with the internet as well and all my shiat is tip top.

but you can't say bad shiat about google because people have tendencies to be religious about things.

I'm guessing it's not available everywhere then? Maybe? I don't know. It only started working for my town in the last month or two, I think. And it's just the regular google maps, it comes up when you zoom in close enough.
