vernonFL: The sun glistened off her discarded abortion.
Bmore O's: From comments:"Blacks get hundreds of thousands of abortions each year. The KKK couldn't hope to kill that many Black babies yearly, and legally too. Where is the racial outrage? The White babies? well, no one actually, you know, cares about them. They don't have the correct pigmentation to be worthy of consideration."LOL wut?
Lumpmoose: Here's the actual doctor's report from.... . The story is profound enough without adding lies by pro-life groups or you, subby.
CokeBear: Mother lied about last period to get an abortion later then it would have otherwise been permitted.

Jim_Callahan: The fact that the mother lied about her last period in order to get an abortion later than would otherwise be permissible is pretty bad on its own, you know. You don't have to make up shiat about being chucked in the waste bin in order to make the story terrible. Albeit, the lying about the time of the pregnancy is already illegal under current law, so maybe you do I guess.//I guess discarded by the _mother_ is true enough, just not discarded by the doctors, who apparently saved her when it was realized the baby was a baby and not a fetus.
Bendal: I guess I'm confused. TFA points out her mother "gave birth" prematurely to the baby, who the doctors then determined was barely alive and took efforts to improve her condition. The woman, OTOH, claims she was "aborted" and "discarded", presumably because her mother did not want to continue the pregnancy. So which is it?
Lumpmoose: I bet current medicine would make the mother's lie impossible these days.
Headso: subtard: WaPo FactCheckers(tm): You liar, you weren't discarded, you were left to die. It's totally differentactual text: A birth record posted on Ohden's Web site says nothing about the medical staff laying aside, discarding or leaving the newborn's body for dead. In fact, it shows that the medical staff took steps to preserve her life after checking her Apgar score - which measures the health of newborn babies - and hearing a weak cryWho are you subby? a dumbass or just trolling?
Grungehamster: Seriously though, this is the same crap as the "Obama voted against making it illegal to murder newborns" thing: it's already the law that if a baby is not stillborn the doctors will care for it, regardless of if the mother wanted an abortion or not. Trying to demand that doctors treat any stillbirth as alive until they've exhausted all attempts to save the child is expensive and unnecessary, as this story shows that doctors check for that anyway.
GameSprocket: Also, how did any of this have anything to do with Obama?
vernonFL: GameSprocket: Also, how did any of this have anything to do with Obama?Obama owned the medical waste company that makes money from discarded fetuses.
lawboy87: She's basically "testifying" to something of which she has absolutely ZERO first hand knowledge. Her claims, appear to be based on something a nurse told her some 20 yrs later or so.The claims she makes appear to be completely contradicted by the medical charts she herself has posted on the website. She was delivered and steps were immediately taken to keep her alive, according to those very charts.Yep, that is subject to a "fact check" and her claims and story do not appear to match the reality as reflected by the medical records. Now, who am I going to believe? Some contemporaneous medical records, or some woman's hearsay testimony based on someone else's potentially faulty memory of events some 20+ yrs prior?
