I couldn't believe it was her. It was like a dream. But there she was, just as I remembered her. That delicately beautiful face. And a body that could melt a cheese sandwich from across the room. And breasts that seemed to say ... "Hey! Look at these!" She was the kind of woman who made you want to drop to your knees and thank God you were a man! She reminded me of my mother, all right. fireclown: OK Canadians, now's the time to let the Newfie jokes fly.

So these two Newfies get it into their head to trek deep into the Labrador wilderness, and, being Newfies, they get themselves lost right quick. After days of wandering through the forest, they come across an unmarked crate. Curious, they crack it open, only to find it full of small, weird, soft capsules with a "medeciny" smell. Starving and unable to control themselves, they begin to gorge themselves on said capsules, which sustain them until they are finally rescued.

Back in civilization, they can't help but wonder what those mysterious capsules were, and begin to seek out where they might find more, as they had grown quite fond of their taste, but only had a few left. After asking around, they came to learn that said capsules were referred to as "suppositories", a strange nomenclature if there ever was one, and that one could procure them at the local pharmacy.

Speedily making their way to the pharmacist's counter, they cheerfully ask for more of these suppositories. Upon being asked how many they required, the Newfies were heard to reply: "Oh, an average amount, we suppose. A few crates should last us a good while." "A few crates? asked the pharmacist in great surprise. What do you do, eat them?"

"Pssh! Of course we do! What else do you think we'd do with'em? Shove'em up our asses?"

Thanks for posting that. I moved to Labrador a year ago and have had a few people tell me about "the Hag." I didn't realize it was a whole Newfoundland thing.

According to my friend, who said it's happened to him, you wake up in the middle of the night completely paralyzed. And if you can see in the corner of the room, you'll find the Hag staring at you.

I'm hoping it will happen to me, now that I've heard about it and it can be rooted into my subconscious.
