There's a lot to be said for a group calling itself the Government Integrity Fund that hires former political aides to work as lobbyists.

Yeah, he's never really been amusing, pretty much just threadshiats. To the circular file with him.

One benefit of all the advertising happening here is that I am deliberately avoiding all advertising. Sherrod Brown is one of the few good politicians left in Ohio since Metzenbaum retired. I'm voting for him despite soft money, dark money, or even cold, hard cash.

Mandel's newer ads seems to be an attempt to reposition him as an "outsider," as he attacks any Democrat OR Republican who voted for the bailouts.

Of course, he gives no answers as to what he would have done to resolve the crisis. I'm assuming the person behind the dark money is another one of his frat buddies?

The group, the Government Integrity Fund

The rule with SuperPacs is that they stand for the exact opposite of what they are named.

Caught some video of the GOP candidate yesterday... is that guy like 12, or what? He seemed the perfect snapshot of a fresh college grad that thinks he has all the answers.

He's 33 years old & served 2 tours in Iraq. The other part of your observation seems faily accurate.

So my SuperPac "Hot, naked Man Meat" is probably one of the best around then.

Damn, really? He's got a severe case of babyface then. He looks like he doesn't need to shave yet.

Seen him speak, really don't like him. Sherrod's been a pretty good guy and I think he's done a good job so far. I just dn't think Mandel is the better candidate.

I applaud Mandel for his Iraq tours, though. I have friends coming back now after their tours and no fun stories to tell.
