And he's a shoe-in to be reelected. Would like to hear Romney be asked if he likes this guy in the debates. I suspect his answer would but "but Obama, Obama, Obama [insert a did and choice of stupid claim here]." Com'n 'cons, 'tards, 'turds, 'can'ts, show us how you really feel about Jones and Akers.

Jones is the first member of Congress to appear on the program.

So ...he's kinda like Jackie Robinson then?

*ducks*

/Only instead of the "color barrier" he broke the "never go full retard barrier"

A Republican Congressman from North Carolina walks into a racist radio station in order to talk about his new "Why we got to impeach Fartbama!11!" bill.

I see what you paraphrased there.

I personally have never met either a white or a black person. Albinos come closest I guess. Do the white or black piece of paper test. We are all just different shades of brown with some burning from ol' Sol from time to time. I also have a bit of a yellowish tinge thanks to Genghis Khan.

So this congress critter supports the war, even go as far as renaming a food to whip up support (if not for the war, then against its detractors). Then when he figures out that his constituents wouldn't be happy because they have to send friends and family to go off on some tangential military action, he votes against it? Yet he is Non-Interventionist? In what way is this guy in independent? It seems to me that his "independent streak" is more of a "I'm towing the party line harder than anyone".

In what farking world can an chicken hawk be a non-interventionist? You were pro-Iraq and now want to impeach Obama for participating in Libya? So skip right past the conflict we volunteered for, and straight into the one we were obligated by treaties to help?

I hope that Rep. Walter Jones steps on a lego.

Put this dude in a rocket and shoot him off to the sun. Would have worked in Superfriends and Transformers if each team didn't have someone who could step outside and tow, and generally weren't righteous dudes to begin with.

I dig your posts in general but Asperginess doesn't suit you and helps no one. "Race is an utterly silly and socially constructed concept" would have been a better thing to argue.

Fair enough. I do have a very fine patch of asparagus in my very impressive gardens. Tasty stuff in the spring and a fine, ferny backdrop for the rest of the season. Does make the pee smell funny. I also have a good excuse for the Asperginess (great neologism there). I had very extensive back surgery due to a football injury I got 40 years ago in college when I got speared. Ruptured L-3, 4 and 5, bone spurs, loose bodies, etc. The damage was quite extensive and I've been eating percocets like candy for a couple of months and taking a nerve inflammation drug (neurontan) which makes one "silly" and clumsy. My big mistake was going on some jerky rides at Universal Theme Park in Orlando back in April. It was the hump that broke the camel's straw. Also, I just can't stand tea bagger types so I just go off on silly rants. That is my curse; I will bear it.

So are about 400 other members of Congress.

And as for "notorious"...let the record show that subby, Mother Jones and the SPLC are getting all pearl-clutchy about a radio show that airs once a week on a whopping total of maybe three stations down at the ass end of the AM dial in various east-bumfarks.

My cats get more listeners when they whine for dinner.

Anyway, Jones' opponent this fall is a guy named Erik Anderson.

And that somehow excuses Jone's stupidity? Had to check your profile. You need to add a thing you don't tell your 2 year old: "Don't put beans up your nose." You don't tell very young kids to NOT do something as they will certainly do said something. Congress critters should have the same term limits as the executive (2 terms).

Funny thing is, probably the best way of doing that is making birth control cheap and easily accessible to people of non-white origins. Get them to stop breeding so much and you have pretty much solved the problem.

2012-09-11 08:15:31 AM

MartinD-35: Congress critters should have the same term limits as the executive (2 terms).

I partly agree with that, but 2 terms is too tight. I think a lifetime limit of 25 years for political office at or above state level. That gives the system the stability of not having too high a turnover rate, but it also makes sure that every generation there is a completely new set of ideas and perspectives.

Wow. I guess that since he represents North Carolina, we should have expected as much. Sad though. The fact that this person sits in Congress is still shameful. Racists deserve representation too. They're Americans like the rest of us.

I thought it was intuitively obvious to the casual observer that Jones is one of the many raving morons in Congress, and that by introducing his opponent to those who might want a different representative, my opinion of Jones was clear. I guess not.

I swear, sometimes it's as if my Democrat friends would rather have Republican crazies in office just to have somebody to point and laugh at, because if a Democrat were to win the race they might be a moderate and thus insufficiently pure.

My opinion of the SPLC remains the same: that they are drama queens who keep the funding rolling in by inflating every backward-ass farktard bigot with an internet connection into the second coming of Lester Maddox.

Me too, but the definition of black I believe is the absence of all color. If you do the black paper test on those people they're still just extremely brown or, as you say, kind of purple or blue. I stared too, and was equally embarrassed.

Appearing on Alex Jones's show is not necessarily the same as being an avowed truther, birther, chem trail proponent, alien autopsy revelator, and tin foil enthusiast.

However, appearing on Alex Jones show as a politician seems to be a cold, calculated move to get the white supremacist up in arms to make sure they vote. As if they weren't already NOT going to vote for the black guy. More importantly, however, a politician appearing on that type of show seems to give the show legitimacy. Can you imagine the outrage if President Obama appeared on Black Panther Nation? (not a real show, just making a point).

I think the SPLC does a great job making sure the public is aware of the radical assholes who exist in this country... And it's hard to deny the ignorant shiat heels amongst us have been emboldened since 2009, for some mysterious reason.

There is a reason that the latest edition of the DSM is removing Asperger's as a diagnosis. That reason is to stop people from abusing the diagnosis by forcing quantifiable criteria for the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (you know, autism, a legitimate disorder and not an asshole's excusing their jackassery with a "diagnosis" that makes them a unique and special snowflake). So, rage all you like. Hop up on your cross, beat your chest, and wail about how the world makes fun of your "handicap", you do nothing but diminish people far more unfortunate than you by coopting their classification for the sole purpose of garnering unwarranted sympathy.

I bet your posts get more views than the good Congressman's white supremacist talk show which means that both sides are bad but I will be voting for Walter Jones just to rub it in your faces.
