(Deadspin)   Good news New York Knicks fans. Remember that electrifying point guard you surprisingly got rid of? Well he could be making a shock return   (deadspin.com) divider line 35

I've been caring about the Knicks less and less over the years, but if this happens it might push me over the edge. Who could support this owner?

I should note that over the same time period I've about held steady in my Mets fandom and have actually become more intense in my Islanders (yeah, Islanders) fandom. So for me to get to this place is saying a lot.

This headline is cruel considering the resulting link.
Fark the Knicks, there should be a widescale ticket boycott if a convicted sexual predator is REhired for this team.

ok, I laughed.

Got rid off?

Shock
return?

Am I missing puns, or is subby needing an "English Motherfarker" picture posted?

Heh, that's a damn fine headline subby. I would hope Knicks fans have enough willpower to openly revolt, like Dodgers fans did against McCourt. Finding a way to get rid of MSG and only MSG network is much trickier...

Well done, Submitter.

/Bringing back Isiah would be an idiotic move.
//Then again, Dolan is already known to be an idiot.

James Dolan: most shameless, pathetic starfarker in all of pro sports.

I stand by my theory that IT was the reason they let Lin go-- he's clearly the type of person that would be insanely jealous of a PG getting that big a contract with so little experience...even though it clearly made business sense (and basketball sense, because fark Ray Fat-ton).

Knicks fans should go boo him off stage at the next JD and The Straight Shot show.

As long as Dolan stays distracted with the Knicks and leaves the Rangers the hell alone, he can do whatever he wants.

Same here. This is beyond a slap in the face, and I'm not sure I can continue on. It's one thing if your team sucks, but it's another thing if the franchise is deliberately destroying itself and goes out of its way to alienate fans. They need to be taken over by the city or the league or something...

David Stern needs to take the Knicks away from Dolan for basketball reasons.

Since when has David Stern ever cared about basketball?

Hell, just go ahead and hire Matt Millen.

Letting Lin go was the right move - he'll be a good player but not a great one and not deserving of the contract he was going to get. But Dolan's sin was getting nothing for him.

Between Lin, the terrible new uniforms and this, Dolan clearly ramping up his now multiple-decade trolling of New Yorkers. He must have figured there's some catching up to do after letting Donnie Walsh run the team competently for a couple years.

You are scared of the extra 10 games that they would lose without Lin? Is 10-under .500 really that scary?

Kudos with the tags, Fark - I figured it was Isiah from the fact that I knew it wasn't Lin and it would be a troll headline, then I saw Stephon Marbury in the tags and no Isiah and thought it was him - was going to make a comment about how he seems to have gotten himself together in China and maybe it was worth a shot.

Then I check it out and yeah, it's Isiah.

This story does seem a lot like Knicks fans are a girlfriend and Dolan was caught once f*cking them over with Isiah and now they're seen together in public and the Knicks fans are like "you're f*cking him again, aren't you?!?! AREN'T YOU?!?!"

As annoyed/angry/frustrated as I get with the branch of the Dolan family that owns the Indians, things like this remind me that it could always be more awful

btw Redskins fans, you dodged a bullet when Chuck & Larry Dolan combined their fortunes to try & buy your team. Yes, there are things that could be worse than Dan Snyder.

Dolan's the type of guy that someone needs to take his ego down a couple of notches; almost in the "I don't care if you're Jesus Christ, you (insert thing/s he shouldn't do here)."

Wow. That's stupid. Like pants on head stupid. Like pouring milk first then the cereal stupid. Like wearing white after Labor Day stupid. Like Vince McMahon secretly hiring Vince Russo after the folding of WCW stupid.

Dolan you is a big big stupid.

Yeah, I want to have some reason to enjoy the Rockets this season, as well as the next few (which is why I was also afraid they would trade everyone for one year with Dwight Howard). They won't content this year, but they'll win enough to stay interesting.

The Astros are fun even when they lose.

What does "deserving" mean? He's the best point guard they've had for several seasons, and is likely to get better.

Replacing Lin with a 39 year old Jason Kidd and a fat Ray Felton makes the team worse. As a Knicks fan the fact that it would cost the MSG corporation luxury tax money is not my concern. The same way my missing a month's worth of games right after the lockout ended was clearly not their concern.
