Founded in 2008 to support a local firefighter whose house burned down, the foundation has since raised more than $600,000, Van Duzer said. Van Duzer said he rode with a few kids from the Boys and Girls Club and met with U.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin to discuss blood shortages. Obama told The New York Times that Van Duzer's effort in promoting blood donations was part of the reason the campaign decided to visit his pizza shop.

It's a fairly standard synonym for the American Taliban. I'm surprised you hadn't heard it.

I still prefer "teabaggers", since that's what they called themselves until someone told them what it meant.

You are either stupid or lying. The f-tards on MSNBC started that.

Wrong.

Or to quote National Review Online:

They asked people to send a tea bag to the Oval Office. One of the exhortations was "Tea Bag the Fools in D.C." A protester was spotted with a sign saying, "Tea Bag the Liberal Dems Before They Tea Bag You." So, conservatives started it: started with this terminology. But others ran with it and ran with it.

If conservatives had any balls, they'd take their licks and swallow the fact that they teabagged first.
