Well, to be fair, the people boycotting the store don't *hate* Obama...just his policies.

Way to support small business.

Stay classy, GOP.

FTA:
"People are saying a lot of bad things and boycotting my restaurant," Scott Van Duzer, 46, told POLITICO. "There's no middle line anymore, and that's exactly what's wrong with our country right now."

How sad. How true.

Fark the teabaggers. Next time I'm in Florida, I'll swing over to Ft. Pierce and have one of his pizzas.

FTFA: Van Duzer's June bike-trek was part of his Van Duzer Foundation, and helped raise awareness for blood donation shortages. Founded in 2008 to support a local firefighter whose house burned down, the foundation has since raised more than $600,000, Van Duzer said. Van Duzer said he rode with a few kids from the Boys and Girls Club and met with U.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin to discuss blood shortages. Obama told The New York Times that Van Duzer's effort in promoting blood donations was part of the reason the campaign decided to visit his pizza shop.

Boycotting a guy who raises money and awareness for homeless firefighters and blood donation? shiat man, why not just kick a bunch of orphaned puppies, walk over to the nearest grotto and worship Satan while you're at it, assholes?

s'okay, it looks like it has backfired, he currently has five stars on Yelp.

There are only three one-star reviews and one of them says this:

The crust was terrible on this pizza! way too chewy and too much salt in the sauce. Gimme Papa John's ANYDAY

So at least they let us know they're an idiot.

Because hating and ruining this guys business has everything to do with the election? Absolute proof that this is a group of hateful people that really have no plan or organizaed approach to anything. They are like rats in a trap snapping at everything that gets close as they see the Amurca the know and love (that never existed) being hauled down and replaced by everything they hate (that also never existed).

These are people that have been spoonfed all their lives. Sadly the pablum turned from anything nurturing to hate and bile somewhere about the time douche-bags like Rush and the like gained some traction.

As I said in a redlit thread, I'd hate to see what they're doing to him on foursquare.

I thought it was Talibangicals, which interestingly enough Firefox tried to correct to cannibalistic. Seemed appropriate.

And it seems I'm being taunted by a child again.

Meh. I doubt it'd come to anything. Heck, if anything, I think he'll see plenty of customers to offset those that want to boycott him. In the end, I think, the "boycott" would actually be good for his business. After all, he's getting free advertising in national and local news every time somebody prints a word about the boycott.

And, not for anything, if I were ever in his neck of the woods, I'd stop by for a pie.

2012-09-10 07:17:07 PM
The article doesn't say who's doing the boycotting. It could be a bunch of former high school nerds who boycott buff guys because they got beat up in gym class.

2012-09-10 07:17:14 PM

Somewhere, there is a thread with a bunch of right-wing shills attacking those that would protest against Whole Foods and Chick-Fil-A. In bizarro world, they are pissed that people are attacking this small business owner for expressing his free opinion.

2012-09-10 07:30:52 PM
Oh, but he's a small businessman! By supporting Obama, he's (hehheh)...he's (snortle)...he's going against his own interestsAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I would really make a lousy right-wing troll.

First, he was exaggerating, a bit. I'm sure he would rather be able to force these people to sit down, shut up, if only for a few minut4es so they could see what farkheads they are being.

Secondly, he wasn't talking about pizza boycotters, but rather those on that side who have this philosophy that they will do ANYTHING, including causing intentional harm to people and the nation, just to get "their guys" back in power. Even if those same guys are the ones who farked things up so royally to being with.

I would LOVE for those assholes, and their counterparts on the left to be sequestered or at least rendered powerless in some way so the farking adults can do the talking.

The far right has totally lost their shiat. Logic makes no impact on these idiots.

I don't care for either side of the aisle. They both want to control one aspect of your life or another...for your own good. I want to be left alone and have no patience for petulant little shiatheads like GAT who can't wipe their own asses without someone to tell them when and how and to buy the farking paper for them out of fairness.

Don't give me that shiat. He'd stand shoulder to should with the Occutards who invaded bank buildings or shut down ports on the west coast...which caused harm to the people who worked there and the people who depended on the commerce that came from those ports just to get those guys out of power...

Why do people that don't care for either side of the aisle spend 10 years on a website defending GOP policies and attacking democrats?

AdolfOliverPanties: I would LOVE for those assholes, and their counterparts on the left to be sequestered or at least rendered powerless in some way so the farking adults can do the talking.

I'd hope you wouldn't consider me in that group. I'd like to actually compromise, but I don't see the point in stepping back one inch to people who have no intent on compromising themselves, on the assumption that giving in first will promote cooperation. I know these people won't compromise, so I see no reason to be anything but intransigent. Admittedly, given that the GOP is utterly intransigent, I can't recall the last time there was an issue I was willing to compromise on. Maybe the deficit deal when I'd accept billions in cuts as long as there were tax raises.

That's fair. I'm sure you never said anything bad about Chick-Fil-A on any social media sites.

Let's get to the important issue though. This guy thinks Obama would beat Paul Ryan in a "workout battle". I'd like to see that, despite ambiguous use of the term. I'll say if they both run a marathon, I think Obama will win. We can give Ryan a break and actually credit him for the time he says he finished in, and I think Obama will still beat him. Those Kenyans are fast.

/ ok, I really only meant to start that as a jibe at Ryan for lying about his PR, but just couldn't resist the Kenyan thing. Some of my best friends are Kenyan.

Not all of them are. The owner of this pizza parlor is Republican. He voted for President Obama in 2008 and plans to vote for him in 2012.

On the other hand, I'll agree with anyone who says that the Tea Partiers are assholes.

I said plenty of bad things about their owner on here. I never questioned the quality of their food, or put any reviews up on places like Yelp. Those are two different things.
