You'd need pages and pages to list Rmoney's bad quotes.

"If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." - Barack Obama

If that's what you're starting with, there's no real reason to go any further...

/also, subby, your blog sucks

They're still running this quote misinterpretation like a kite, it seems.

2012-09-10 06:35:19 PM
The very first one is a misquote by omitting what he actually said.

2012-09-10 06:35:53 PM
What makes this list really good is that they take quotes out of context. Awesome.

2012-09-10 06:36:31 PM
Oh look, another endless list from Fark's favorite John Candy impersonator.

2012-09-10 06:36:44 PM
These quotes are only bad if you are a conservative fark.

"I... hate... Americans"
"I want to... take... this country... backwards"
--Mitt Romney

2012-09-10 06:37:38 PM
The worst of Mitt Romney can be summed up much quicker

"Corporations are people, my friend."

and

"I stand by what I said whatever it was."

2012-09-10 06:37:47 PM
How dare they criticize the chosen one! Off with their heads! How many presidents can continue foreign wars of aggression and win the nobel peace prize huh? Exactly one!

"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a (flag) pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest..." - Barack Obama

Alright, RightWingNews, you're going to have to explain to me what the problem with that one is.

To save everyone the click, here's a summary of the article:

"Somebody had to take the babysitter home. Then I noticed she was sitting on... her sweet... can...o I grab her... sweet can... Oh, just thinking about... her... can... I just wish I had he... sweet... sweet... s-s-sweet... can."

"The private sector is doing fine."

The private sector is doing fine, that's why the stock market has recovered. I don't see what argument there is otherwise.

"I do think at a certain point you've made enough money." -

True, more money only improves your quality of life up to a certain extent, after that spending money is only about status fights with other snobs.

Looks like the rest of the list is just as bogus, I'll just stop there.

Yeah... There may be some meaningful quotes in there, but the edited "You didn't build that" at the start, and ending with a string of Jerimiah Wright quotes ...

well that just doesn't leave much room for credibility.

2012-09-10 06:43:05 PM
Now if you'd gone with the quotes from Clint's 'Imaginary Obama', that would've been entertaining and humorous.

"...I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment - this was the time - when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals." - Barack Obama

It's just adorable that you learned how to spell those words. Maybe one day, you'll learn how to use them correctly.

"Making products we sell around the world, stamped with three proud words, 'Made in the USA!'"

I don't even understand why even from a right-wingers perspective this is here. Is the author saying that manufacturing in the US is a bad thing? Really?

This reminds me of the Richard Pryor sketch on SNL with Chevy Chase. All the racial innuendos are tossed out until Chevy just ends the interview with the "n" word.

All the crappy right wing "news" sites and it ends with, of all things, "Right Wing News". This is the end.

How is it a misinterpretation? That is word for word what he said. If you're looking for context, Obama preceded that with: (paraphrased)

"A lot of people say that I'm successful because I'm so smart, well there's a lot of smart people out there. Or they say its because i worked so hard, well there's a lot of smart people out there. If you became successful, there was a great teacher along the way who helped you. Someone invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business - you didn't build that - someone else made that happen"

So if the *that* to which Obama refers are the roads and bridges, he's flat out lying because a successful business person does pay for roads and bridges. They pay more so than the failed businessperson.

If you've ever listened to the man speak or write, you know that deep down in his heart he feels that nobody can be successful unless there is collective success.

That's the whole point of the quote, genius. We all pay for the roads and bridges because they help us become successfu.

Yes, they paid for it with taxes, that the point. Pay for does not equal build. Government built it and businesses paid for it with their tax dollars, that's exactly what Obama was getting at. And Romney made exactly the same point earlier incidentally.
