FirstNationalBastard: Is Carl in the house?

Are we talking about Cark Kasell? Because I was wondering the same thing -- he wasn't on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me this weekend and yeah, I am a bit concerned.

What about "Where's Perry?"

NeoCortex42: If only show-Carl could be more like comic-Carl. Comic-Carl could take care if himself and was downright badass.

If they could start taking show Carl in that direction, it would be great. We'll have to see, though. Obviously they can't follow that storyline exactly, but they could put something together. The comic has kind of been spinning its wheels of late, so I'm excited to see what this season's show brings.

Snapper Carr: Carl's hanging out with Walt

Carl would be dead pretty quick as Walt would look to "tie up loose ends".

Brick-House: What about "Where's Perry?"

Well, we know where THAT Carl is.

"Where's Perry?" part 2 is some of the best P&F ever. The Candace storyline actually had me a bit misty-eyed. And Monogram rocks a leotard!

I would like to take this opportunity to state that Bob's Burgers is a terrible, terrible show. Worse than The Cleveland Show, and that's downright unwatchable.

How has he lasted until the third season? Lasting past the third episode is amazing enough.

You know, I have to agree. I like the show and comics well enough, but the game is much better than I ever expected. It deals with the day-to-day of a zombie apocalypse better than anything not named World War Z.

/Well, outside of a plot twist in the middle of episode three... borderline retarded, Telltale.

The comic book really is Rick and Carl's story. One would presume that that's such an integral part of the story that it remains the arc that they build around, even if they introduce and off the other characters in different order. I like that the TV show is different- It maintains the suspense if you don't know who's next. Dale going so early was certainly a shock.

coco ebert: Ok Farkers, you guys and gals usually have good taste, if a bit nerdy at times. What shall I watch among the new shows?

coffeescholar.files.wordpress.com

It's not a new show but it's really good and it's only on Hulu. It stars Xander Berkeley and whole bunch of "Hey! It's that guy (or girl)!" actors.

A man (played by Xander) sits at the end booth in a diner. People come to him with problems. He offers them each a deal. They must perform a task, tell him the details, and they will get what they want. The trick is that these tasks are things that would normally be inconceivable to them. Whether they agree and fulfill their side of the bargain is entirely up to them. What they want may happen if the task is not complete. But if they complete their task they are guaranteed to have their desires come true. As the show's tagline puts it "How far would you go to get what you want?"

Two seasons. Ten episodes of 30 minutes each. Time well spent.

On one hand, I don't like what Doris wanted at the end of the second season. It's cliche, stupid, and... ugh.

On the other... I'm dying to know what she has to do to get it.

S1 was better than S2, overall, but TBATE is still great storytelling.

Huh. I've never heard of this show. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!

CavalierEternal: Will Supernatural get off of the Christian mythology storyline they've been on for the past three seasons and do some good Monster Of The Week episodes again?

Noooooo, that's the worst. Monster of the Week shows are generally so boring. Though to be fair, Supernatural takes so damned long to flesh out a proper arc that it becomes boring. I'd rather have a solid ~15 episode arc season than anything else.

How will The Finder handle Michael Clarke Duncan's death?

Can Calleigh balance her newfound motherhood with her CSI duties?

Who REALLY killed Mary Alice Young?

T-Dog knows no one with a name dies off camera (Sophie being an terribly poorly thought-out exception). He spends most of his time making sure he's not in any scenes, and when he has to be, he makes sure he has as few lines as possible. He's probably an expert Call of Cthulhu player.
