I hope the zombies eat Lori's brains, because she's not using them.

Also: obligatory mention of how good American Dad! is

This. One of the much better animated shows (right behind Archer and Venture Bros. for me). If you don't agree, then I have one suggestion for you:

FirstNationalBastard: Is Carl in the house?

Of course. They told him to get in the house so where else would he be?

Obviously. He clearly understands he's in a zombie-infested apocalypse and the most dangerous thing he could do is get separated from the group (like the other little girl did). He knows he's not good with zombies, after the one he spared killed Dale. Why would he go anywhere separately?

If only show-Carl could be more like comic-Carl. Comic-Carl could take care if himself and was downright badass.

Ok Farkers, you guys and gals usually have good taste, if a bit nerdy at times. What shall I watch among the new shows?

So THAT'S why they keep letting him out. Self preservation.

Among the new shows... Honestly, they all sound like shiat.

Well, without Breaking Bad in another few months, I find myself reminded of the shiathole of American TV. I do want to know, though, if Treme or Boardwalk Empire is any good. I ask about Treme because of David Simon's involvement, but I've not heard of anything else from the show.

I will probably keep up with Game of Thrones, but the sexpositions have become freaking annoying.

I don't know, Arrow looks like it could have potential. Maybe Revolution.

I didn't bother looking into the new CW shows because... it's the CW. ;-P

Did you see the pilot for Revolution? NBC put it on the web. I wanted to like it, but the world doesn't seem very well thought out, and that seems like a huge red flag.

I was kinda hoping that the new Community showrunners would roll back on Dan Harmon's constant ungrounded, nonsensical wackiness for the sake of nonsensical wackiness that ruined S3 and try to go back to the 'Bunch of Cliched Misfits Go to a Community College' premise that made the show good in the first place.

Needless to say, my hopes have been dashed.

I like Treme a lot. It's the same style as the Wire, meaning it follows a lot of characters in different places to paint a picture of a city. However the tone is a lot lighter so it doesn't have the edginess that makes critics go nuts over things. It's still worth following especially if you like Jazz/Blues.

A lot of great shows returning this fall:

Boardwalk Empire
Downton Abbey
Homeland
Sons of Anarchy
Tremé

30 Rock, too.

Not a great show. Not even a good show.

A particularly retarded show, for certain.

Once Upon a Time, Grimm, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, CSI, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, American Idol, Warehouse 13, Haven, Alphas, sometimes Supernatural, sometimes Two Broke Girls

May watch Survivor, Arrow, Revolution, 666 Avenue

Thanks for the clarification. Based on most of these choices, it would appear that you are a menopausal divorcee with many, many cats (NTTAWWT).

Clearly a thread on the shows being discussed isn't to your liking. Why don't you go have a nice mug of Sleepytime Peppermint Teatm whilst lazily f$ngerb@nging yourself to a Barry Manilow LP (again, NTTAWWT).
