Those were hilarious. I was a little too tipsy to notice how the 49er handled his fail, but Gronk just looked at his hand, looked up at his teammate, looked at his hand again. High fived his teammate in lieu of his traditional celebration, and then looked at his hand one more time.

The best part about Vernon Davis' dunk fail is the slap upside the head from his teammate, like "nice going wise ass"

I thought the Gronk one was on purpose

Watching it again, I still think it was on purpose.

They should have practiced their celebrations more during the preseason.

As long as Davis is scoring touchdowns, he can get rejected like he's auditioning for a Sprite commercial all he wants.

But yeah, that was pretty damn funny.

It didn't look like it to me, he seemed quite perplexed.

I don't. He's too much of a meathead to purposely do something like that.

I hadn't been to KSK since Drew left (XmasApe is terribly unfunny). Kinda sad to see what that site has become.

I loved Gronk's reaction.

"Where Gronk ball?

Who took Gronk ball?"

RE: the last gif, would Rex have been knocked over if he didn't lose all that weight?

Looking good Coach, hope there's no longterm side effects from that surgery.

Please have John Skelton's shuttle "pass".

2012-09-10 02:40:47 PM
The shot of Gronk from the other side when he looks in his hand like "Where the hell did the ball go?" is one of yesterday's two best reaction shots. The other was Akers' reaction to making the 63 yard field goal.

Oh, it's there, in all its anigif glory.

That was just awesome. He looked like he won the Super Bowl single-footedly.

He totally earned that. Only non-club-footed, non-Mile High 63-yd FG in NFL history (if I listened/read correctly). I hope he gets to enjoy that for a while before someone goes for 64+.

Why did the Eagles get rid of him again? Oh, right, they're the Eagles.

Totally thread jacking, but does anyone have a good stream site for the games? I lost my bookmarked site somehow.

Yes, there is a website that is something close to atdhenet.tv (I am at work and can't search for the exact URL, but hopefully a helpful Farker could steer us in the correct direction), that shows all the games, and it's usually easy to find a working stream. That's always been my go to, but you should definitely be able to catch the game on your computer.

I'm almost positive someone else tied it last year or the year before.  I remember the team arguing that the stat was noted incorrectly and it should have been 64 (the record)... even appealed to the NFL to change it to 64.

Raiders' Sebastian Janikowski kicked it in Denver. He could have hit it from 70.

Who was the guy who caught the TD pass, then saluted the ref in the end zone? (I think it was a Cardinal in the Arizona-Seattle game.)

As an Eagles fan, I say this almost every time he makes one. The guy is clutch.

/was totally pissed when someone drafted him before me in my FFL. One year I dont take him early

Don't draft kickers in your fantasy football league. The difference between the best kickers in the league and the replacement guy you can just grab off the pile of garbage is less than the difference between a late round pickup of a wide receiver or a running back and the picked-over remains at those positions.
