My brother has two cats and two dogs, one of which is a 130lb German Shepard. His new kitten, that could easily be eaten by that dog, is not afraid of it at all. While I love all those animals, cleaning up after that big dog is a major chore compared to taking care of the cats. So, consider me lazy. That Shepard is awesome though, her bark is so intimidating it's awesome.

My brother has a dog and a cat. Apparently (I haven't seen it) the cat will sit on the back of a couch or a counter and wait for the dog to go past and pounce on him. Then run away so it looks like the dog is trying to start something. My brother isn't a fan.

Also, since the cat is a troublemaker, by bother has trained the dog that "get the cat" means go hold down the cat for a little while. Other than that, the dog won't go near the cat. It's pretty funny to watch.

I think 'get the cat' is a universal command that dogs just know because the little mutt I had growing up would go absolutely mental if you said that and would run to the spot in the backyard where wondering stray cats would go to escape. You can always tell when a cat is guilty of causing trouble because they try to act like they did nothing wrong :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't some of the first pictures transmitted across the internet pussies? If not, there's apparently a lot of pictures of pussies on the 'net according to our firewall's filtering categories.

Zizzowop: So, how many 'funny' photos don't have pictures of people or pets in them.

I would say quite a few. And just because it has a pet doesn't make it unfunny, but just because it has a cat and says something like "I IZ KAT. I TYPE LYK KAT WUD TALK IN BROKUN ENGLIS" doesn't make it funny.

Show me that funny picture of some random inanimate object, I bet it's hilarious.

There is at least one feral cat living in a pile of junk behind my apt and a whole bunch in the neighborhood.
Can't wait for winter to kill them.

The article was about some art opening or book launch or something, but the article writer, in true blogger fashion, made it all about themselves via their cats. Why was this greenlit? I'd rather read about someone ugly and naked being arrested in Florida, like usual.

Winter won't kill them, the answer is Trap, Neuter, Release.

I had a colony in the back of our old apartment complex that used to get into fights all the time, etc. TNR and all the fighting problems are solved because no one goes into heat. The colony prevents new cats from moving in too.

Google TNR and your city name to get a bunch of charities to help you.

Does Gangsta-Kitty have to slap a biatch?

If a cat ever did that to a child in my presence, we would find out exactly how far a bloated furbag can fly.

I prefer to refer to it as "now you get to play with an orchestra!"

I doubt the cat could have done any real damage through all the bubble wrap on your children.

It's not about damage to a child, it's having an animal that doesn't attack people. Take some responsibility as an owner (or if you prefer the airy fairy term "guardian") and teach your farking animal some manners. Cat people (and some dog people too) seem to think that their animal's attack behavior is cute, or it is the old "I have a cat and a cat is a free spirit so I let it do whatever the fark it wants" thing. Fark that.

I've had dogs, birds, and hedgehogs throughout my life and have been able to instill a modicum of manners in all of them. If you can't be bothered to take the time to do the same with your animal you don't deserve to have one, and your animal will suffer because of it.

my cats dont do that, bad owner not bad cat
