Don't Troll Me Bro!: thenewmissus: Isn't it awesome that the Dems can make that type of challenge. Republicans know that they can't even begin to make that statement. Republicans, or at least Independents should really take notice that only one party is daring enough to tell the press to fact check them and that the other is stating, :"We won't let our campaign be determined by fact checkers." It is a very telling sign.

Considering the GOP has long been pushing the line that fact-checkers are also part of the liberal mainstream LMSM media, and cannot be trusted, this will just further the belief that right-wingers have that fact-checking is part of the liberal conspiracy.

To the GOP: Underestimate Biden at your peril. When he is on point he's like a laser scalpel, and he will eviscerate you with it. Ryan has no chance in the debate against a focused Biden who's been doing this political thing literally since Ryan was in diapers.

Animatronik: coeyagi: Animatronik: TalenLee: Seriously, where the fark did Joe Biden come from? He's like some sort of megabot of awesome qualifications. If you told me there was a politician with just one of his major traits I'd go 'he sounds like a cool guy.' Then you pile them all together and you have this grandfatherly figure who's suffered amazing personal tragedy, worked his ass off, rode the train to work with a lunch pail, is the father to a soldier, and who also speaks really well in public with this wonderfully genuine ability to slip up. Even when he makes mistakes, it's this really reasonable, relatable kind of mistake. It's not like Romney not being able to identify a donut, it's a sort of 'Oh shiat, I can imagine farking up like that.'

Biden has been nothing but a liability for Obama. He is a figure of fun, routinely ridiculed on late night talk shows. Every other word out of his is something silly or a crude mistake that doesnt even need to be fact checked.

and hes a heartbeat from the presidency.

I, for one, have thoroughly enjoyed having the VP be a lovable goof whil the Pres sits back and runs the show.

Umm......no. I will make this short since I am on my way to church. I don't pretend to believe that no democrats lie and all republicans lie. I meant exactly what I said. The lies of the left pale in comparison to the lies on the right. Oh, believe me, the thought has crossed my mind several times. Brand it correctly, and frozen custard could be the trendiest dessert out here for a few years. Froyo has the advantage of seeming healthy, since it's low in fat, so frozen custard would have to play up the "indulgence" angle. It's rich, and it'll never be healthy, but play it up as a foodie experience, and people out here will go for it.

Unfortunately, I'm a grad student with no start-up capital.

Cuz they aren't searching for information. They are waiting to see what they should be outraged about. If you present them with facts that don't line up with what they have been told, they discount it by calling it part of the "librul media." I feel like some people are so far gone that they are at the point of no return. The only thing that could help them is if their leaders told them the media was good and facts are good. Poor people. I really do feel sorry for them. Bless their little hearts.
