The existing device (with air compressor enhancement) should work fine, given proper placement.

You could also place a bluetooth connected bomb in the melon and detonate the melon over a wireless connection. Still needs prepwork but it is much more impressive.

Something about the fact that the guy in the video had a baby strapped to his chest just made it that much more amusing for me.

It needs to be altered so the baby's head blows up.

Unfortunately because the hackers were all native Kentuckians they had to import someone from Indiana to actually trigger the machine.

Good to see the local hackerspace showing up on Fark :D (Gives me warm fuzzies, at any rate.)

ROFL :D

In all seriousness, though, LVL1 (the group responsible for this) does cover at least Clarksville and New Albany and Jeffersonville as well as the Kentucky side of Louisville metro :D No real rule says you have to be from the RIGHT side of the Ohio River to join and all that, just pay the membership fee and have a desire to do nifty things with technology including making things do stuff outside of what their designers actually planned :D

/y yes, I DO support hackerspaces
//LVL1 is also trying to get up its own amateur radio club, which I'm sure is Relevant To The Interests of a few Farkers, especially those into homebrew stuff

And a headset connected to a tank of pressurized air.
