Most 'honey' and 'maple syrup' these days is HFCS+flavorings.

I read the ingredients on a packet of KFC "honey sauce" last night. High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, sugar, fructose, honey flavor.

Ever notice how bees love mountain dew? I always wondered what honey made from mountain dew tastes like. I bet its pretty great.

The city seems to be talking out both sides of its face: "...the tree is in a public right of way.."...but...."its your tree"...but..."we have the right to fark with your tree".. So much for a clear delineation of rights and responsibilities. I would say if the tree is in the homeowners yard, its theirs. They can chop it down, let it grow as big as they want, or fill it with 5000 bees. Its their business, not mine or anyone else's. If, on the other hand, it is on city property then the city can do as they see fit. Clear and easy.

Clearly A: You live in your mom's basement where it's always the same temperature... B: You have no idea what a pollinator is and don't care because cheese doodles and hot dogs don't need them and C: Are 12.

It is not the city's place to imply ownership of the tree: it's "the tree". Always use the indefinite article.

I knew a guy with the opposite problem; seems he had a wasp nest in his shed, and wanted to get rid of it. Instead of doing what a normal person would and spraying it with wasp spray from 15 feet away, he decides they're bees. He had heard at some point that smoke pacifies bees, so he makes a smudgepot out of a soup pot and dampish paper. I have no idea what he intended to do after the "bees" were pacified, but I just went indoors. He got his son to place and light the smudgepot as he did other things. After a few moments, I began to hear screams outside, with the guy shouting "is anything happening?" and the son saying "hell yes! They're farking pissed off!" No one could go near the shed for awhile. That wasp nest may still be there.

Much like I like my women.

I've gotten stung by a honeybee once. That was when I was five years old and picked him up in my hand, squeezing him a bit, not knowing any better. Now I love those little guys and gals.

Wasps however go out of their way to mess you up. Instant death for them :) Female mosquitoes too, but I haven't seen them around in a few years.

There is some nick cage picture of him and bees that may be relevant to post here, not sure anyone has done that on Fark yet. I've tried to find it but it's a bit obscure.

Honeybees wiped out? Oh, no!

Bees should be protected. It should be illegal to kill bees under any circumstances.

I'll kill a wasp or yellow jacket any time I darn well please. And honey bees will be happy I did.

You're absolutely right. The media has NEVER deliberately confused every goddamn semi-automatic rifle with an "assault weapon." He just pulled that right out of his ass.

Have various shots of guns sitting in the cabinets all dusty, not having the will to be fired knowing that all of their hard work will go to waste when a simple m-16 will get the glory while the ak-47 remains hidden inside a wooden prison.
