Real brave, dumbass. Blame the dead guy who can't defend himself for your own fark up.

Sorry you farked up a huge moment.

I can't imagine how that could have happened. You give OJ a glove and pretty much tell him "if you can get your hand in this glove, this jury will convict you of murder". Amazingly enough, OJ couldn't get his hand in that glove.

I'm no law expert, but I'm pretty sure there's no opportunity for the defense team to be alone with evidence during trial.... unless he's claiming some big Oceans 11 style heist to break into the court house and mess with a glove.

I had always heard that OJ either took something or didn't take some regular medication that resulted in his hands swelling to keep them from fitting.

2012-09-08 07:26:31 AM
Oj's oldest son was the murderer. That's why the DNA matched, but the glove didn't fit. There's a picture of the guy somewhere wearing the damn stocking cap

Give it a rest already. He farking killed them. Everyone knows it. And now we're suffering the penance through the Kardashians. Those coonts wouldn't be famous if it weren't for one of OJ's lawyers. I always thought the son did it OR he couldn't get the gloves on because he was wearing medical gloves or something under them since they did not want to ruin evidence.

Does Darden have a book coming out or something?

They found the glove in the bushes, right? If it had gotten wet even once (rain, sprinkler, hell even a good dew), then left to dry without any care, it was never going to fit.

Wait, you are telling me that a leather glove that was found outside, then locked up in an evidence locker that in all likelihood shrank a bit...OJ tried to put on the glove while wearing rubber gloves...and it did not fit? Nooooo....

2012-09-08 09:03:06 AM
If you wear floppy vinyl under gloves, the gloves you put atop them are very hard to get on when you add in the "I am an actor and will make them not fit"

2012-09-08 09:27:41 AM
If they wanted the gloves to fit they should have planted the right size at the scene.

OJ did not kill. Jason, his son, did it and OJ covered it up. Read "OJ is guilty but not of murder".

You take a leather glove, soaked with blood, and put it, wet, into a ziploc bag for over a year...you don't think that leather will shrink under those circumstances? Then, you have OJ try it on over a rubber glove...and it doesn't fit?? Wow! What a surprise!!

Actually, to me, the moment that the Prosecution had a win in hand was when he tried the glove on...the single most surprised person in that court over the fact that the glove didn't fit, was OJ. He was surprised because he knew it was his glove. Too bad they didn't point that out to the jury.

There is very, very convincing evidence and when you put the pieces together (the chase when OJ's friend was driving and pushed Jason away when they all got out of the vehicles), it begins to make perfect sense. The cops bungled the investigation from the very beginning and were totally convinced OJ was guilty before looking at the evidence. They suffered from the Texas Sharpshooter's Fallacy from the very beginning and never got over it. Read the book written in the 90's.

2012-09-08 09:43:58 AM
Yeah, it's his fault that you were so dumb you actually asked the defendant whether they fit.

Also, ingeniously OJ's lawyers forced the LAPD employees to walk all over the evidence at a crime scene to contaminate it and tricked Mark Furman into being a racist piece of shiat.

I wish someone had looked into how many defendants in other LA trials were convicted on the basis of shoddy police work. I couldn't believe how incompetent OJ's lawyers made the LAPD look.

Made them look incompetent. I mean, you could make the kitchen of any Michelin 3 star restaurant in the world sound like the worst, filthiest greasy spoon if you wanted to. Harp on tiny, insignificant details that don't mean shiat in the larger scheme of things, and do not affect the quality of the work done, and you'll make anything sound bad.

Now, of course, there's a really good argument to be made about police procedures and the quality of lab work and if sloppy work convicts innocent people. But I don't believe that the OJ Simpson case did anything at all to prove anything about it one way or the other. It was a case of breaking the system by just throwing enough lawyers at it.

So tired of this.
OJ was set up by the Mob.
He had unpaid gambling debts and this was what happened because of it.

Same thing happened to Jordan and his dad.

There is a video and a book written by a private detective in which he makes that accusation. He puts together a pretty good case for it being the son.

It makes more sense to me since I could never figure how how a guy slices up two people and does get covered in blood, does not leave blood all over his car (as opposed to the few drops in OJs) car and in his house.

I don't get this. Like every child, Jason Simpson received only half his chromosomes from his father and half from his mother, so how could his DNA be identical to OJ's? wouldn't it be identical only on those chromosomes he received from his father, while being completely different on those received from his mother ? presumably when analyzing the DNA left at the scene of the crime it should be possible to distinguish whether it belonged to the father or the son.

Any experts out there in Farkland have the answer ?

This theory was being floated shortly after he was arrested, as for the validity, minus a deathbed confession we will never know.

I think that there are two parts to your answer. 1 - yes, the DNA is different. 2. Current testing is not exact enough to differentiate.

Just my opinion.

It's too late, people. It's the twilight of the Republic, the End of Days. At this late hour nothing can undo the effects of this sinister perversion of justice. Soon you will be living in an anarchic hell in which any wealthy man may dispose of his trophy wife on a whim at the mere cost of his fortune and reputation. Prepare yourselves for a beastly massacre of personal trainer-shagging former models that would make King Herod swoon! All these precious gems at the neck of Humanity will one by one be snuffed out, and then...

...bad things will happen. Yes, it will be very, very bad. All our aspiring models and cheerleaders and backup dancers and Beverly Hills cocktail waitresses will be imprisoned in despair, unable to know if their heart's freely-given love will be rewarded with pain, betrayal and death after they milk hubby for millions, blow it on cocaine, and throw him over for the pool boy. Is the flower of America to wither alone in the studio apartments of New York and Los Angeles, alone and unfinanced?

A light has gone out of the nation. I fear it will never know joy again.
