Ghostery, Noscript, adblock plus, and flash block.

I don't see any auto played videos ever. I don't see 99% of ads either.

Of course, it breaks regular sites as well and you have to add things to whitelists to make stuff work sometimes, but you can go to the filthiest hole on the internet and not worry about malware, popups, or auto play.

Douche was arrested for outstanding warrants in TX. It's a local story, so the articles from the papers here have a bit more info.

Might be related to his possession charge or theft charge.

and yeah, while you're on the flight, before they arrest you, you can update your FB page (provided you spring for the WiFi). Douche was shopping his story before he ever landed in DFW (and was arrested on the outstanding warrants).

one small post for man: I feel bad for the other people on the flight. That guy seems like a massive jerkoff though.

Oh, there's so much fail in this story that it's damn funny (read the Philly papers for more info; I don't want to link to a mobile site for you guys, and that's what I keep getting directed to).

1) Crazy ex-gf who makes the anonymous tip to authorities.

2) Ex-gf's new bf who helps her (seriously dude, WTF? If she's that pissed, either she'll kill you in your sleep or she'll drop you the moment this douche decides to get back together).

3) The douche's friend in PHL security who breezed him through the TSA checkpoints. Hope that moron loses his job (now that the FBI is involved, he just might).

4) The douche himself, who is stomping his story to every local news outlet here and demanding big $$$ for it. The schadenfreude here is that the putz got arrested anyway, on his birthday no less, for several outstanding warrants (now let item #3 sink in again).

I don't have a link handy, but the clips from his FB page were nothing short of epic fail.

Having a flight turn around and return to the airport is gay?

I was unaware that kind of abortive flight had anything particularly homosexual about it. Sure, some of the male flight attendants are only missing the assless chaps and feathered boa, but they do a competent job and I don't believe they get to decide the airplane turns around.

I never can keep up with the fads anymore.
