At this point, I imagine the average "swing voter" as someone who requires hour-long blocks of time to decide on matters such as whether to have an English muffin or toast for breakfast and whether to clip toe nails today or tomorrow. So, I'd actually say that Octomom is probably a step or two above them.

And people want to deport hard-working people who were not born in this country. We can do that after we deport the octomoms and snookis.

In her defense she does have a bunch of kids. Regardless of how she got them or whether or not her having them was smart. Its the fact she's busy taking care of them to the point that she doesn't have enough time to worry about who is the president that sits well with me. It's the people who don't have a bunch of kids that don't know who Mitt Romney is that really scare me.

2012-09-06 02:56:22 PM
Who cares?

It doesn't matter who they vote for. It really doesn't. The winner was picked already, and all that remains is to put on the pageant to make everyone think they have a say in what happens. In the end, the guy that was appointed by the corporate overlords will take his place, and we'll get a news cycle-- with all the ads, merchandise, and book tours to go with it-- until the next big political "choice" they let us think we have comes up.

Octomom's vote is no more useless than anyone else's, which is to say it's completely useless and always has been.

Well, I listen to music everyday through this new thing called a computer. My car has a radio, but I only listen to CDs. So she might not be lying. And also, if you listen to certain stations they don't play political adds...and this might not apply to her, but if you aren't in a swing state they don't play anything.

I have not seen one Obama add in KS. Prolly figure why waste the money.

Way I figure, if it were advantageous for her to say who she was voting for, she would say it. She wisely put together that it is not advantageous. Answering whether or not she knows who Romney is also opens the same door. There's no advantage to her to talk politics.

The question should have never been raised. Asking about it should be the same as asking 'have you had an abortion/paid for someone else's abortion'. Just don't do it in public.

If you want to go there, talk around it, by asking about the platform kind of crap.

I'm a "swing voter" or an "independent" as we like to be called. Actually, that's a pretty fair assessment... it's after 2:18PM and I still haven't eaten lunch, I'm really hungry, but can't decide what to eat.

Lame story, bro time:

I was working at a financial services company in 1989, and was setting up an account for a man named William Horton. I made a lame attempt at a joke by saying, "Hey, I'm setting up an account for Willie Horton." A female co-worker asked me, "Who's Willie Horton?", so I gave her the story from the previous year's election.
Her response: "Well, I didn't pay much attention to the election anyway."
Me: "Well, did you vote?"
Her: "No, I didn't bother. (pause) Who won, anyway - was it Dukakis?"

/facepalm

Nice sarcasm there. I personally hate politics and try and stay as far from it when I can. My interests are more into the technology so I spend most of my time reading up on that. My brother how ever, is a political major and has a law degree. So politics is his thing. Hate talking to him. Nothing but politics.

Surprisingly enough, it's trickier than I thought to GIS for two different nipple pics that look similar enough to pass as the same one but for different angles. Not saying that I minded the search, but it was harder tougher than I thought it would be.

I don't know, I completely agree with him.

My vote matters about as much as if I put a $5 bet on a football game, and then waited to see if "my team" won. And I've been voting since I was old enough to do it.

Cant we just grind her and her kids up into tiger chow?

This is nothing. My favorites are the Fark Independents making five or low-six figure incomes that vote like they'll be in the top two percent of earners within the next couple years.

Without "Octomom" in front of "Nadya Suleman" - I wouldn't know her...so there. Mitt Romney may be an unelectable flesh-covered covered robot who's made millions on the misfortune of others, but at least his claim to fame isn't being a professional unfit mother/attention whore.

Someone should hold this womans head under water til she quits kicking then take her litter and drop them off with that Dugger family. They will be better cared for and I dought they will even notice the extra kids.

I wish I could mock this woman but I truly can't. She is way ahead of me. I wish I had never heard of Romney and no one is willing to pay me to be in a nude video.

SlothB77: because the only way to listen to music is from a radio. does she not have a tv or a computer or a phone or an ipod?

All of those cost much more than a radio. Granted, if you're willing to ask around a bit you can probably find someone willing to give away an old yet functional or fixable computer for free, but even then you'll need to pay for an internet connection. For the cost of one or two months of broadband you can buy a cheap DAB radio. A basic FM clock radio would be about half that.

If she doesn't have the money to spend on a radio there's no way she's buying a computer, a TV with freeview or a mobile with internet or an FM receiver built in.

2012-09-06 07:51:03 PM
Mock her all you want, but you can't deny that she's doing all she can to take care of those kids. I certainly don't see any of the so-called "pro-life" zealots lining up to help her out.

To be fair, she probably doesn't know she needs to register.

SHES A LIAR

Well, I listen to music everyday through this new thing called a computer. My car has a radio, but I only listen to CDs. So she might not be lying. And also, if you listen to certain stations they don't play political adds...and this might not apply to her, but if you aren't in a swing state they don't play anything.

I have not seen one Obama add in KS. Prolly figure why waste the money.

did I just defend Octomom?

Yes.

You now have to pay child support for all of her kids, and Sarah Palin is automatically president.

I can think of two things that spawn more hate. Politics, both sides, and Hollywood.

If you are in the low six figures and so is your spouse you are (were, the last year I could find stats was 2006) likely in the top two percent, with 1.93 households making over 250k.

It's only mandatory if you're registered, according to the people I've spoken to.

3rdtimearound: Good. I don't want her on my side. I would say that as Democrat, Republican, Fascist, or supporter of the Brain Slug party.

Yeah, as a member of the Democrat-Republican-Fascist-Brain Slug party, I second the motion to send her to the other siide.

2012-09-07 02:03:36 AM
Am I the last person who feels sorry for her? She's clearly mentally ill, she's birthed way too many kids to handle on her own, which has exacerbated her mental illnesses. She's turned to stripping and porno to make ends meet.

Yes, she's made some stupid decisions in the past, and she's paying now. But she's not right upstairs and she needs real help. I'd love to see her get her act together, if only for the crotchfruit - they deserve better.

fawlty: "I live in a village of little kids."

Awesome quote. Let that sink in a bit. It's completely accurate. Imagine living in such a village. It's not like those crazy big families because there are no older ones to help out. You don;t have seniors in high school at the same time as pre-K's. It just you and them and they are all under 8 (or whatever). Now, do you care one rat's ass who the president is?

Unless you were "famous" and raking in lots of money, I would think it would be absolutely critical given how even a tiny change to welfare payments for kids would be magnified many times over when you have so many.

ExperianScaresCthulhu: puckrock2000: Lame story, bro time:

I was working at a financial services company in 1989, and was setting up an account for a man named William Horton. I made a lame attempt at a joke by saying, "Hey, I'm setting up an account for Willie Horton." A female co-worker asked me, "Who's Willie Horton?", so I gave her the story from the previous year's election.
Her response: "Well, I didn't pay much attention to the election anyway."
Me: "Well, did you vote?"
Her: "No, I didn't bother. (pause) Who won, anyway - was it Dukakis?"

/facepalm

She was bullshiatting... about not know who won.

No, this girl actually was that stupid/clueless. This was in June of 1989; so, seven months after the election, five months after the inauguration, this girl had no idea who the President of the United States was, but she thought it might be Michael Dukakis.
