You know those rating systems are flawed. They don't take in account houses that have, uh, more than two television sets, and other things of that nature.

It doesn't take into account that the DNC was on more than one channel.  Across the 7 channels that brodcast the DNC I believe they got a 16.9 compaired to the NFL's 16.1.

F*cking Giants...thanks for costing me $20 and hurting my chances in my pick 'em league.

Yes. His speech occurred in a vacuum. The only way to have learned anything about his remarks, let alone actually hear them, was to view them live. To those who missed it, his words are lost forever.

Bill Clinton hasn't lied like last night since he told us, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman (looking at Hillary), Ms. Lewinski (looking at Monica)".

How bad is it when you have a convicted perjurer defend your absence of success in restoring the economy. No wonder nobody watched.

it takes some brass to say nobody watched the thing that the article showed the highest rating for.

Well then, the Republicans have nothing to worry about, right?

So why do they sound so worried?

2012-09-06 04:26:45 PM
Something tells me that Democrats are more likely to watch TV online, hence not being counted by the Nielsen folks.

Your continued rejection of reality is becoming quite sad. 21M viewers last night, 26M viewers the night before, both stronger than the RNC... and I'll bet whatever you want that tonight they top the 30M the RNC got on their final night.

I watched the stream on c-span's website. I can't wait to hear how poorly the DNC did on the radio, or how low the demand is for the commemorative wax cylinder recordings.

Oh, this one will get bites. Big time. Question is, will you have the balls enough to respond truthfully, or just with the usual amount of derp that will get even more bites?

I love how the GOP response to being raked over the coals by fact-checkers is to faux-fact-check with a bunch of "yeah-but" nonsense.

"so everything Clinton said was actually true?"
"yeah-but Lewinksy!!!"

What's the over-under until Limbaugh is beating the Vince Foster's corpse like a drum again?

I know better than to engage a thread-shiatting troll, but about that - from FactCheck.org:

Former President Bill Clinton's stem-winding nomination speech was a fact-checker's nightmare: lots of effort required to run down his many statistics and factual claims, producing little for us to write about.

Republicans will find plenty of Clinton's scorching opinions objectionable. But with few exceptions, we found his stats checked out.

That is because Republicans, as intelligent and informed voters, watch both conventions. The libs were too busy watching honey boo boo to watch the republican convention.

One of the 'fact check' rundowns I saw admitted that it was mostly correct, but that it was being skewed. You can cite facts all you want, but if you're slanting the citation, it's losing the spirit of providing factual information.
