Stealing people's money because of ghosts is only legal if you start a religion first.

I wonder if this would work on some of the younger women but I change it to saying my penis is the only way to cast out the demons from their pussies.

How does someone who is gullible enough to fall for a scam like that manage to amass $35,000 in valuables? Rich people, by and large, do not get rich by being stupid.

Flipping the symbol doesn't mean that you don't owe Columbia (and therefore Sony) money for using their copyrighted image in what I'm presuming is a for-profit article. :P

Stupid people get rich by inheritance or lottery. They tend not to stay rich long unless they have handlers.

Hexes allow for two extra directions of movement, why would I want to remove them?

No, you're thinking of GHBusters.

That's what I came here to post. The wife and I watched a few episodes of that show and it was always weird how the most valuable things in the house seemed to have spirits attached to them and needed to be removed.

Is this the same old thread where we bag on all psychics because someone was defrauded?

How is this different from church and religion/superstition?

Inflatable Rhetoric: How is this different from church and religion/superstition?

FTFA: The suspects employed their usual M.O., telling the victims they must go home, gather all their valuables, and bring them back to the suspects for a "purification ceremony." Sadly, the women did as instructed, only to find that after the purifying ritual, they were returned empty bags; one victim alone lost $35,000, according to police.

Luckily, one of the incidents, which occurred in Chinatown, was caught on video. It shows a group of four women switching out one of the bags, then placing it in a different colored bag and walking away, according to police.

Churches convince people to willingly part with their money... If the scammers here had simply asked for a donation for their "services", then it would be similar... But, these people straight-up stole shiat...
