Whatever. All I could hear was "DEATH TO ALL REPUBLICANS" from his speech. He's a total wingnut.

Clinton passionately explains right and wrong and cites facts. Republicans point fingers and keep lying, or bring up interns and move goalposts.

Clinton farking killed last night. Even Fox News didn't have anything to say except "It was too long" and "it had too many facts that people can't understand". Romney is probably still holed up in his volcano lair crying.

Too my facts that people can't understand? He seemed to dumb down complex economic policy pretty well to me. Jeezie Chreezie, if Americans couldn't understand what he was saying, we sure are a dumb lot.

I'm just reporting back from what I heard Fox News say in the little that I heard. Given their usual audience, they probably have a point.

i love the wingnut spin is that it was too long and complicated for stupid americans to understand. talk about talking down to your audience.

13. "Now people ask me all the time, how we go four surplus budgets in a row. What new ideas did we bring to Washington? I always give a one word answer: Arithmetic."

Easily the best line from the speech.

His speech really dispelled the notion that Clinton was going to Eastwood his appearance. They didn't need to release the Biden, they just loosed Clinton doing what he does best: connect with folks and show what a Centerist approach looks like, in living color.

Clinton gave a great speech, but I was struck by how he is aging. Didn't he have a quadruple bypass or something? It shows.

He actually looks much better than he did prior to the bypass. Hillary is the one that really looks like hell lately.

I can't find it today in the transcripts because it was an ad libbed line, so here it is to the best of my recollection.

"I would recommend to my friend Paul [Begala] here, tonight when everybody leaves, lock the doors. You don't have to come back tomorrow. This convention is done. This will be the moment that probably re-elected Barack Obama. Bill Clinton saved the Democratic Party once, it was going to far left, he came in, the new democrats took it to the center. He did it again tonight." - Alex Castellanos, GOP strategist

WTF was that all about, anyway?

Eastwood goes senile on stage, and the best comeback the right wing had was, "Well, maybe Clinton will do that too!"

No he won't. He's Bill farking Clinton.

This is an accurate assesment, IMHO. The Dhimmycraps are now occupying the left, center, and center right. All the GOP has left is the fringes.

If it was truly a bloodsport, I think more people would actually pay attention to the candidates, their positions, and vote.

The first examples are from 20,000 years ago in Africa. Modern arithmetic came from India and Persia.

Clinton did just fine. Much better than Eastwood. Now all the Republicans will project, project, project and tell us what a failure Clinton was.

Considering Clinton answered a bunch of tired-ass, moronic taking points in a similar manner a FARKer would, I'd say he DOES spend a lot of time in the politics tab.
