Damn right. Michelle had a great speech but this was classic Clinton.

2012-09-05 11:34:00 PM
And if by nailed it. You mean he shoved a cigar up his ass and blew out hot smoke and mirrors. Then yes, he nailed it.

2012-09-05 11:34:02 PM
Gotta say that was a kick-ass speech. Even the Fox News talking heads were having a hard time saying bad things about it. Not that they won't figure something out.

2012-09-05 11:34:34 PM
OK ... it's probably mostly because I'm drunk, but thanks the laugh, subby. That was perfect.

Whoever has the dry panty concession in the arena is making a killing right now.

Just admit it, you didn't ACTUALLY watch it or listen to it.

Who is the hottie that was sitting on Chelsea's right side? RAWWRR

And yes, Clinton nailed it with that speech. Dismantled almost every GOP talking point.

I enjoyed this headline very much.

I'll bet the GOP will try to spin it as worse than Eastwood.

Classic Clinton....

My right wing nutter people on FB were all like, oh he lied under oath and blah blah blah... and OMG do we need to really go through this again? Sexual relations means the horizontal mambo. Shoving a cigar in and getting a BJ is just "fooling around". In my mind, he did not lie. Sex is coitus. Fooling around is everything but insertion. JHTDCOAC it makes me want to throw my computer through the window.

Vulcher/Voucher?? I don't even, wat???

Thread-shiatter? This isn't a thread. This is just a bunch of dudes trying to prove who wants to felch Clinton's ass the hardest

Clinton is good but keep in mind that Barack Obama is so good at formal political speeches that he won nomination on otherwise thin resume.

Masterpiece of public speaking regardless of your side, if you're honest anyway. Liking what he said made it that much better for me.

I'm a political junkie. I'm cant stand conventions. It's a week of propaganda. Everyone is on their best behavior and the spin cycle is on high.

i miss the clinton years. republicans didn't beat around the bush with these dog whistle questions like "well i don't know if the president is american or a terrorist, why won't he just prove it?" they just stepped right up and directly accused the president of murdering a bunch of people.

I flipped back and forth with the football game and Clinton seemed in great form, but man is that guy long-winded. He made Obama stand backstage for an hour. At one point, I was seriously thinking he was going to make it to Thursday.

I'm no fan of Clinton's, so I didn't bother watching, but I didn't need to see it to know he'd hit it out of the park, because that's what the guy usually does. If only his actions would've matched his rhetoric, instead of him usually being the right-of-center triangulating Republicrat he was. While I don't really like the guy, I can't help but marvel at his skills.

2012-09-06 12:41:15 AM
I said this in the other thread, but that was the greatest convention speech I'd ever seen. Better than Obama's in 2008, even better than the one Clinton gave in 2008.
