"I think it's great that more mainstream businesses are realizing the buying (and) consumer power of the Hmong community," he said. "(But) chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and obesity are already a major health concern in the Hmong community. Most of this is attributed to the changing westernized eating behaviors that Hmong people have adapted to. McDonald's should instead focus more on healthy eating."

And that is that.

I suppose, but I look at McDonald's and other fast food as an occasional indulgence, so I really have no problems with that. It's like asking a nudie bar to focus more on modesty.

Agreed. Maybe I skimmed the article, but I couldn't find exactly WHAT was wrong with it. They say grammar, but I can only assume they mean the spaces between words are missing... And I'd like to know where they're supposed to be.

So what is the correct way of wording it?

According to Google Translate*, "Coffee give you an erection, Breakfast make bowels move."

For me, it's the two really long nonsensical looking words and that one itty bitty one at the end. It makes me feel like there need to be more spaces somewhere.

I was using an ATM here in Austin, and my language choices were English, Spanish, and Hmong. I was surprised that there were more Hmong-speaking customers of this bank in Austin than, say, Chinese or French speakers.

I don't have a problem with it, I was just surprised at the size of the Hmong community here. I knew it was of a decent size, but I didn't think it was hmongous.

/ oh god I'm so sorry
// true story about the ATM though

just Google Hmong language and look at some examples. Everything I've seen so far is syllables separated by spaces. No words that are 25+ characters long.

It would be like a Chinese fast-food franchise putting "Haveityourwayatchinakingnow" on their advertising for U.S. restaurants.
