What Paul Ryan said was a bold-faced lie to all the American people and he doesn't care that it was a lie because it doesn't matter because it sounds good

Bold faced lies are too farking obvious to get away with. You need italic lies, maybe sometimes an underline if you want to be less subtle. But bold? Pfft, amateurs.

For all intensive purposes, though, I think Burton might have overplayed his hand with this one. I think he's going to be back peddling soon, probably looking for an escape goat.

To all coming at the author, allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.

Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it's a peach of cake.

"They lie and they don't care if people think they lie," Chairman of the California Democratic Party John Burton told KCBS Monday in Charlotte. "As long as you lie, Joseph Goebbels, the big lie, you keep repeating it, you know."

In what way is this statement even remotely inaccurate?

2012-09-04 01:23:27 PM
He didn't call thems Nazis, he called them liars, and referenced the famous Goebbels quote about the "big lie". No reason to apologize there, though he probably will being a democrat.

As for flat earthers, the republican has a whole wing of people that dumb (and believing it's only 6000 years old is hardly any better)

lie lie lie, lie lie lie, lie lie lie

the full moon is rising over dark water
and the fools below are picking up sticks
and the man in the gallows lies permanently waiting
for the doctors to come back and tend to him

the flat earth society is meeting here today
singing happy little lies
and the bright ship humana is sent far away
with grave determination
and no destination

lie lie lie, lie lie lie, lie lie lie

yeah, nothing feels better than a spray of clean water
and the whistling wind on a calm summer night
but you'd better believe that down in their quarters
the men are holding on for their dear lives

the flat earth society is somewhere far away
with their candlesticks and compasses
and the bright ship humana is well on its way
with grave determination
and no destination

lie lie lie, lie lie lie, lie lie lie
